The bathroom was surprisingly spacious, and I appreciated the rainfall shower after long days exploring the area. The well-equipped kitchen allows guests to prepare their own meals using fresh local ingredients from nearby markets.

Mornings at Villa Ioannis have this peaceful rhythm that’s hard to find elsewhere. There’s no formal restaurant, but the breakfast setup on the main terrace includes fresh local bread, honey from nearby farms, and coffee that’s actually decent — not always a given in smaller Greek properties. The staff, which is really just a small family team, knows the area inside and out. They pointed me toward a little taverna in Lindos that I never would have found otherwise, and their beach recommendations were spot-on.   Lovely secluded property with a superb pool. Fantastic bedrooms and the grounds are really nice too. The house is decorated to a high standard but bear in mind there are plenty of breakables if you have young kids running about. Lisa was superb, and what a welcome she gave. Loads of help and advice throughout!
  
  What could be improved: The kitchen is a little cramped, but perfectly functional and obviously not a problem if you are having dinner out. A working outdoor shower would have been good. These are all minor and you’d really struggle to find any negatives.
