I spent hours just walking the shoreline here — the beach stretches for miles, and you’ll often have long sections to yourself. The village itself is small and authentic, with a few tavernas where locals actually eat (always a good sign). What I really appreciated was how easy it was to explore from here — you’re close enough to venture to Lindos or even down to Prasonisi if you’re into windsurfing.

The Studio Experience

The studio itself is exactly what you’d want for a beachfront stay — clean, functional, and designed around the view. Large windows frame the sea perfectly, and there’s something really satisfying about waking up to that endless blue horizon. The space feels bigger than you’d expect, probably because of how well the light flows through. I found myself spending most of my time on the terrace anyway, which faces directly onto the beach. The kitchenette setup worked well for simple meals — I mean, when you’re steps from the sea, you’re not exactly planning elaborate dinner parties.

Daily Rhythms

Here’s what a typical day looked like: morning coffee watching the sunrise (seriously, the eastern exposure is perfect for this), then straight onto the beach without any of that hotel-to-beach shuttle nonsense. The water here stays relatively calm, which makes it ideal for swimming rather than just splashing around. Afternoons, I’d retreat to the studio during the heat, then head back out for sunset walks. The evening light along this coast is something else — golden hour stretches on forever. Having that parking spot meant I could easily drive to dinner in the village or even venture to nearby beaches when I felt like exploring.

  Everything was great! Had the entire property to myself. It was off season so noone was around so I had a fantastic quiet and peaceful time. The house was exactly like the photos: large bed, great WiFi, 2 balcony is with both countryside & Sea views 😁. The communication with the host was outstanding and received a frw bottles of Cuba Libre 😊. Would definitely recommend Beachfront Socrates 👌 Thank you so much for a nice stay

  Wundervoller menschenleerer Strand soweit das Auge reicht und die Füße tragen! Anfang April! Schönes Haus mit zauberhaftem Garten, sehr freundlicher Gastgeber! Wer keinen Trubel mag ist hier genau richtig!
