When I first pulled up to Zen Club Luxury Villas in Kolimbia, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a property without a traditional star rating. But you know what? Sometimes the best places don’t fit into neat categories. The moment I stepped onto the property on Παρισίων street, I could see why this place scores a remarkable 9.8 from guests — there’s something genuinely special happening here that goes beyond formal classifications.

Location & Setting

Kolimbia sits in this sweet spot on Rhodes where you’re close enough to everything but far enough away to actually relax. The location really shines here — recent guests rated it 9.1, and I can see why. You’re tucked away from the main tourist chaos, but honestly, that’s exactly what makes it work. Couples especially seem to get it (they gave the location an 8.4), probably because there’s this romantic, secluded vibe that’s hard to find in busier resort areas. Plus, having free private parking right on site means you can explore the island without worrying about where to leave your car.

The Villas Experience

These aren’t your typical hotel rooms — we’re talking actual villas here, which changes the whole dynamic of your stay. Each villa feels like your own private retreat, with space to spread out and actually live a bit. I mean, when you’re traveling as a couple or small group, having that extra room to breathe makes such a difference. The design leans into that “zen” concept without being overly themed about it, if that makes sense. It’s more about creating spaces where you naturally want to unwind.

Pool & Relaxation

The swimming pool area is where you’ll probably spend most of your downtime, and it’s designed with privacy in mind. Unlike those massive resort pools where you’re swimming with hundreds of strangers, this feels more intimate — almost like you’re using a friend’s really nice pool. The whole setup encourages you to slow down, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to escape the usual routine. I found myself lingering here way longer than planned, just because the atmosphere makes it easy to lose track of time.

That 9.8 rating doesn’t happen by accident — it comes from getting the details right in ways that matter to real travelers.   Zeer ruime tuin, zwembad heeft een redelijk formaat, de bbq, ligbedden, loungebedden en loungeset. Overal is wel een schaduwplek te vinden. De villa is werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien, zeer compleet. Host reageert snel op vragen via het chat-systeem. Gezien de redelijk rustige ligging is het huren van een auto sterk aan te bevelen.
  
  What could be improved: Misschien goed om te weten; er is (nog) geen bemande receptie. De host beantwoordt vragen echter heel snel.

  We had the pleasure to stay in this new and luxurious villa for one week during the easter holidays. From the first moment, we felt very welcome and the staff was more than eager to help us and provide us with everything we asked for. The view is astonishing, the place is very quiet – except for the lovely goats that live on one of the hills next to the villa 😉 . A bunch of taverns are nearby in walking distance. Nevertheless we would recommend a rental car to be flexible to explore the island. We will come back to enjoy this again 🙂

  Beautiful new apartment , fully equipped with everything needed. Loads of space for me and my family. We hired a car and had it delivered to the apartment (which has it's own parking space). We went in October, the pool isn't heated. the weather was lovely, but for us, the pool was a little too 'refreshing' for our liking. I'm sure earlier in the season, we'd be in the pool all day, every day. There was lots of little extras provided that we hadn't expected, which made our first trip to the supermarket so much easier.
  The security deposit held on our credit card was released quickly once the apartment was checked after we left.
  We met the owner on arrival who was lovely and gave us information and some good ideas on restaurants.

  *Super Clean & Well-Equipped: The villa was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
  *Family-Friendly: Provided with a baby cot, high chair, and a bath, making it perfect for our 6-month-old. Even had blender and baby eating set.
  *Great Location: Only a 5-10 minute drive to beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants. For day trips its only 30 min drive to Lindos or Rhodes Town.
  *Convenient Amenities: A large supermarket/ pharmacy is just 5 minutes away by car, local taverna do food deliveries.
  *Excellent Communication: The host was responsive and helpful before and throughout our stay and gave great recommendations.
  *Perfect for Relaxing: We loved spending time by the pool while our baby napped in peace.
  *Peaceful Surroundings: A quiet and tranquil setting, ideal for a relaxing getaway.

  This accommodation is exceptional! The spotless rooms provide all the essentials for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor area is beautifully designed and spacious, featuring a bar, barbecue area, comfortable loungers, and dining spaces. The pool was meticulously maintained during our stay. The location is perfect for exploring the island—central yet peaceful. We had a rental car, but public transport options were abundant as well. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We can’t wait to return!
