You know what struck me first about White Palace Studios? The name actually makes sense – it really does have this clean, whitewashed Mediterranean vibe that feels more upscale than your typical Greek studio setup. I mean, when you’re driving down Agisandrou street in Faliraki, you’ll spot it pretty easily because it stands out from the usual tourist strip developments.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to be close to everything but not right in the middle of the chaos. You’re maybe a 10-minute walk from the main Faliraki beach (the one that gets absolutely packed with British tourists in July), but far enough up the hill that you won’t hear the late-night party crowd stumbling back from the bars. The studios themselves are surprisingly spacious – I’ve stayed in plenty of Greek accommodations where “studio” means you can touch both walls at once, but these actually have room to spread out your stuff. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, which matters more than you’d think when you want to grab groceries from the Lidl down the road instead of eating out every meal.

What really impressed me was the attention to detail that you don’t always get at this price point. The air conditioning actually works (and works well – crucial during those brutal August afternoons), the Wi-Fi reaches every corner of the property, and the bathrooms have decent water pressure. Small things, but they add up when you’re trying to rinse off beach sand for the fifth time in a day. The pool area is where this place really shines though – it’s got this relaxed, almost boutique hotel feel rather than the typical “let’s cram as many sun loungers as possible” approach. You can actually find a quiet spot to read or take a proper nap without kids cannon-balling next to your head.

The staff here seem to genuinely care about the place, which honestly isn’t something you can say about every property in Faliraki. They’ll point you toward the better tavernas (skip the tourist traps on the main strip and head to Manolis up the hill), help you figure out bus schedules to Rhodes Town, and they keep the common areas spotless. Parking isn’t an issue either – there’s space right on the property, which saves you from hunting for street spots or paying those ridiculous daily rates at the beach lots. The whole setup just feels more thoughtful than your average Greek island accommodation, like someone actually stayed here themselves and fixed all the little annoyances that usually drive you crazy. At a 9 rating, it’s clearly hitting the mark for most people, and I can see why – it’s that sweet spot of being comfortable and well-run without being pretentious or overpriced.

  Ketsa and Patricia were lovely. Our studio was spotlessly clean. Beds were really comfortable. Fridge had an ice box and worked really well. A/C was quiet and efficient. Pool was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt really welcome. We will be back.
