So I stumbled across White Houses Villas almost by accident – honestly, I was just driving down that winding coastal road from Lindos toward Gennadi and saw these pristine white buildings tucked into the hillside. You know how most hotel names are complete marketing nonsense? Well, this one actually makes sense because the place really is just a cluster of gorgeous white villas that look like they grew right out of the Mediterranean landscape.

The location is what really got me though. Gennadi isn’t one of those tourist circus towns – I mean, it’s got what you need, but it still feels authentically Greek. The villas sit on this elevated spot where you can actually see the sea (not just a sliver between buildings like so many places claim), and there’s something really peaceful about being slightly removed from the main village action. The staff genuinely seemed to care about the place, which you notice in little things like how they remember your name after day one and actually give useful local recommendations instead of just pointing you toward the expensive tourist traps.

What struck me most was how they’ve managed to keep that intimate villa feeling while still running a proper hotel – no easy feat with a 4-star rating to maintain. The architecture has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “look at me” but just feels right for the setting. You’ll hear the occasional goat bell in the distance (seriously), and the morning light hitting those white walls is pretty spectacular if you’re up early enough. The whole place has this unhurried vibe that made me realize how wound up I’d been before arriving. Sure, it’s not right in the thick of nightlife if that’s your thing, but honestly? After a day exploring Rhodes or lounging on Gennadi Beach, coming back to this quiet sanctuary felt perfect. The kind of place where you actually unpack your suitcase instead of living out of it, you know?

  The location itself was very useful. The town of Gennadi (2mons car ride) has everything you could need – supermarket, bakery, souvenir shop, apothecary. The beach was a 3min walk away.
  
  The facilities were also all as advertised – a very nice pool, working grill (with stone oven for pizzas even!) and plenty of space. Villa A also has a basketball hoop!
  
  The rooms were clean and they included all that you would need for a group of friends. We were 6 and used the master bedroom (upstairs) for one couple, the other bedroom (basement) for the second couple, while the third couple used the pull out couch in the living room (ground floor). Each room has its own AC unit. One bathroom upstairs, one on the ground floor. While there was room for another 2-3 persons to sleep, I probably wouldn't recommend it – 6 is the sweet spot!
  
  2 terraces and 3 outdoor spaces (with tables and sitting area) offer plenty of room. Anastasia is also very lovely and was available at any time in the day per WhatsApp for assistance and general help if needed.
  
  I highly recommend renting a car (we are very satisfied with the service of Rodos Cars, but heard great things from other local companies too!) and using White Villas as your main camp for exploring the island.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing really. There only was one weird moment with one of the handymen which have access to the property, but Anastasia was clear to point out his purpose. He also helped us setting up the grill.

  A beautiful villa in the perfect location – we are a family of 4 and the villa did not disappoint! Lots of space inside and out, with well maintained pool and gardens. The contact for the villa was excellent – Anastasia was there for whatever we needed.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing – it was exactly what we needed for a wonderful holiday

  Location was peerfect, very close to beach, restaurants and market, in walking distance.
  
  What could be improved: Very silent place and everything is available what a family requires. Hous is very comfortable with airconditioning and swimmingpool.

  The host was very kind and made sure that every wish was met as quickly as possible. The location was very nice as one was basically a jump away from the beach

  Beautiful white villas side by side in a great location. In the photos it looks like it is far from the town center but it is very close walking distance to the sea and the center. We already have our own private pool, but the coast is so calm that we also had our own private sea beach:) We had a very small problem and they solved it immediately, which surprised me very much. It was my first time in Rhodes, next time I have already made a plan to keep all the villas with our friends.

  What could be improved: It wasn’t clean, many mosquitoes were killed on the wall! The bathroom was very unhygienic. The towels were dirty.

  Viskas buvo puiku kaip ir norėjome. Patys geriausi atsiliepimai. Daug erdvės, daug laisvės, visko buvo ko reikėjo patogiam poilsiui. Jūra šalia, baseinas švarus, stogo terasa nuostabi 🥰

  Υπέροχη βίλα με όλες τις ανέσεις που χρειάζεσαι στις διακοπές. Τα δωμάτια είναι τέλεια με μεγάλες ντουλάπες και air condition. Η κουζίνα πλήρως εξοπλισμένη και πολύ βολική. Το σαλόνι με καναπέ που ανοίγει και γίνετε κρεβάτι. Ο εξωτερικός χώρος εξαιρετικός με την πισίνα και τις αυλές, τραπέζια,ξαπλώστρες και ομπρέλες στη διάθεσή μας. Η Αναστασία ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετική και πάντα διαθέσιμη να λύσει όλες τις απορίες μας. Η θάλασσα δύο λεπτά με τα πόδια. Ανυπομονώ να ξαναέρθω με την οικογένεια μου. Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ

  Удобный чистый, в греческом стиле дом, с прекрасным видом на море, с бассейном. Удобные лежаки с зонтиком около бассейна. Полотенца, постельное бельё чистое, также нам были предоставлены полотенца для бассейна. Хозяева всегда были на связи, это удобно), кухня полностью укомплектована. Останавливаемся в этом доме не первый раз, всё нравится!
