I’ll be honest – I walked past Voyaz Boutique Apartments about three times before I found the entrance on Omirou Street. It’s one of those places that doesn’t scream “hotel” from the outside, which actually turned out to be perfect since you feel more like you’re staying in a local’s apartment than some touristy place. The Old Town can get pretty chaotic during the day (especially when the cruise ships dump everyone out around 10 AM), but this little stretch of Omirou stays surprisingly peaceful.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to keep the old-world character without making you feel like you’re roughing it. The stone walls are definitely original – you can tell because they’re slightly uneven in that authentic way that new construction never quite captures. But then you’ve got proper air conditioning that actually works, which, trust me, you’ll appreciate in July when Rhodes gets properly hot. The suites are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over your suitcase every time you turn around, and honestly, the kitchenette setup is clutch if you want to grab fresh stuff from the morning market near Plateia Arionos (it’s like a five-minute walk, maybe less). I mean, hotel breakfast is fine, but there’s something about having Greek coffee and local pastries on your own little terrace that just hits different.

You know what I didn’t expect? How quiet it gets at night. I was worried about being right in the Old Town – sometimes these historic areas can be party central – but the thick walls really do their job. The only sounds you’ll hear are maybe some late diners chatting on nearby terraces or the occasional cat doing whatever cats do at 2 AM. Parking is… well, it’s the Old Town, so forget about driving right up to the door. But there’s a decent public lot about a ten-minute walk away, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t need a car anyway. Everything worth seeing is either walkable or a quick bus ride to the new town. The staff actually knows their stuff too – not just the generic “go to Lindos” recommendations, but they’ll tell you which tavernas the locals actually eat at and when to hit the Palace of the Grand Masters before the tour groups arrive. That 9.2 rating makes sense once you’re there a day or two.

  The location is perfect for a stay in the old town. Out the door, straight down the path for 3 minutes, Socrates Square.

  Beautiful, close to many nice restaurants, right in the centre of the Old Town, beach, port, shops were all in a walking distance, owner of the property was friendly and very helpful!

  Our host was very kind and accommodating and able to ask questions when needed. We didn't have a lot of interaction aside from getting the key and recommendations, but he was very fast responding on whatsapp. Its in walking distance of eve r ythibg in old town. He also gave us wonderful family owned food recommendations that's were to die for
  
  What could be improved: There is nothing to dislike about the property its self. It's good for larger group sizes. But parking could get difficult to find a spot but I believe it's the same for anywhere in old town

  Very roomy and comfortable. Owner met us at gate to help with our luggage and walk us to his place inside the walls! Left us water and even a bottle of wine! Very nice touch! Also provided slippers!
