You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Villa Lindos Muse – I mean, there are so many hotels scattered around this part of Rhodes that claim to be something special. But honestly, this place caught me off guard in the best way possible. It’s tucked away just far enough from the main tourist crush of Lindos village that you actually get some peace, but close enough that you can still walk to those famous white-washed streets and the acropolis without breaking a sweat. The first thing that hit me was how quiet it gets here in the evenings – you’ll hear the occasional motorbike puttering by (this is Greece, after all), but mostly it’s just the sound of cicadas and maybe some soft conversation drifting from the terrace.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail that you don’t usually find at four-star properties. The owner – or at least I think it was the owner – was actually around during my stay, checking in with guests and making sure everything was running smoothly. That’s rare these days. The rooms have this sort of understated elegance that feels authentically Greek without being kitschy, if you know what I mean. Real stone and wood, not the fake stuff you see everywhere. The bathrooms are surprisingly spacious, and the shower pressure is excellent (trust me, after a day of climbing up to the acropolis, you’ll appreciate that). I stayed during late September, which honestly might be the perfect time – the summer crowds had thinned out, but the weather was still gorgeous and the sea was warm enough for swimming.

The location is actually pretty strategic. You’re close enough to walk into Lindos proper for dinner – there’s this little taverna called Mavrikos that locals still go to, which is saying something in a tourist town like this. But you’re also positioned well for day trips if you rent a car. The staff gave me directions to some beaches that weren’t in my guidebook, including this small cove about ten minutes away where you can actually find parking (good luck with that at Lindos Beach in summer). The breakfast spread was solid – nothing too fancy, but fresh local ingredients and strong Greek coffee. I mean, you’re not going to spend your whole day at the hotel anyway, so what matters is that it’s a comfortable base, and Villa Lindos Muse definitely delivers on that front. The Wi-Fi worked well in the common areas, though it was a bit spotty in some rooms – but honestly, that might be a blessing in disguise when you’re in a place this beautiful.

  The location has a million dollar view of Lindos. The apartment was extremely well equipped, we could have lived there for months. The owner was friendly and helpful. The terrace offered both sun and shade.

  If you go to Rhodes you have to visit Lindos. If you are visiting Lindos you just need to book this amazing place!!! Dont think twice!!!! Super clean, views on all sides from the balconcy are amazing. Thanks for everything!

  Everything! Great sized apartment with an incredible balcony. We couldn't get over the views! It was the perfect setting for a wind down after exploring the island and we didn't want to leave. The location is also great (moments away from the Acropolis) and Yannis was a brilliant host! We had everything we needed in the apartment, and Yannis added little touches to make our holiday extra special. Would 100% recommend.

  Spacious comfortable apartment with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice view from the terrace where you can relax. Good mattresses. Blankets where very actual in October.
  Location is very good – a bit away from noise of night city. It was quiet at night. Not far from Acropolis.
  Lovely sandy beach with crystal water is in 10 minutes of walk. But be ready for stairs, ups and downs along the way.
  The host was very kind to arrange early check-in and late check-out.
  
  What could be improved: There are no strong minuses but some recommendations. It would be great to provide newcomers with mini kit of water/oil/salt. Also the frying pan can be changed for teflon one.

  Beautiful property with amazing views! Comfortable and very clean and had everything you could need. Yannis was a great host and even though we arrived quite late at night and had input the wrong check in time, he still met us nearby to show us to the property.
