Hotel Description
You know what really struck me about Villa Lindos? It’s one of those places where you can tell the owners actually care about the details that matter. I mean, sure, it’s got that typical whitewashed Aegean look you’d expect, but there’s something more thoughtful going on here – maybe it’s the way they’ve positioned the terraces to catch both the morning light and those incredible sunset views over the village.
The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience authentic Lindos without being right in the thick of the tourist chaos. You’re close enough to walk down those famous cobblestone streets to the ancient acropolis (though fair warning – it’s a proper climb back up, especially in the afternoon heat), but far enough away that you won’t hear the tour groups gathering at dawn. The staff here actually know the area well too, which isn’t always a given. They pointed me toward this little family taverna that I never would’ve found otherwise – none of that generic “there are many good restaurants nearby” nonsense you usually get.
What really won me over was the attention to comfort that goes beyond the obvious stuff. The rooms are spacious without feeling impersonal, and honestly, the beds are some of the best I’ve encountered in Greece. The air conditioning actually works properly (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case), and there’s enough storage space that you don’t have to live out of your suitcase. The bathrooms are modern but not sterile – someone clearly thought about water pressure and lighting, which sounds boring but makes such a difference when you’re trying to rinse off after a day at the beach. Speaking of which, St. Paul’s Bay is an easy walk down the hill, and while it gets crowded during peak hours, early morning or late afternoon it’s absolutely magical. The hotel’s pool area is a solid backup plan though – it’s got that relaxed vibe where you can actually read a book without feeling like you’re missing out on something. I spent a good chunk of one afternoon there just watching the light change over the village rooftops, which sounds cheesy but was genuinely restorative. The 9.4 rating makes sense when you experience the whole package – it’s not trying to be flashy or revolutionary, just genuinely good at what it does.

Miss Valasia was very helpful and accommodating, and really easy to communicate with. The house itself exceeded our expectations. Once you walk in, you feel a sense of comfort! It is a beautiful traditional home with a taste of luxury. There was everything we could need and more. Great location as well!

The perfect residence for our family holiday, both for adventures around Lindos and out into Rhodes as well as for quieter days spent between the beach and the barbecue. Our wonderful hosts (Valasia and her team) were so helpful and responsive throughout that we able to relax very quickly. The villa is really well equipped and feels both homely and luxurious. Views of the acropolis from the roof terrace, a stone mosaic courtyard and an easy roll down the hill to St Paul’s Bay – what more could you ask for? Yiamas!

The decoration. The courtyard is great for spending time together. Large kitchen and top equipped. Very nice and comfy for a big family.
What could be improved: The town was too touristic for me

Everything at Villa Lindos was just fabulous. We were in Lindos for my son’s wedding in Ktima. Such an amazing venue … fairytale trip and a lifetime of beautiful memories

The villa is spacious and very well furnished. The location is ideal to access the commercial street and not too far from the beach.

Very beautiful and stylish traditional villa which was a pleasure to stay in. The courtyard and roof terrace were perfect private spaces for relaxing and the bedrooms cool and comfortable. The location is probably unbeatable being in the old town close to all amenities but slightly raised away from any noise. Beaches, restaurants, shops and transport options are only a short (though steep!) walk away and Lindos itself is charming. The owners were very helpful arranging check in and answering any questions.
What could be improved: Nothing!
The layout was something of a surprise and a floor plan could avoid any confusion when booking. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with king size beds (2 singles) sharing a toilet and wash hand basin. The roof terrace is accessed from one of these.
Downstairs is another king size bedroom, shower room, study with computer and with 2 single beds, kitchen and sitting room. Rooms are interconnected but accessible from courtyard. In the courtyard is a further stylish wet room.Joanna from United Kingdom – 17 September 2023 (9/10)
Beautiful villa with lots of homely touches. The location was excellent and was in the centre of the village. The house was so cool even without the Aircon and we had some very hot days
What could be improved: The only downside was the access to the roof terrace was via one of the bedrooms. But if your sharing with friends it isn’t that big of an issueRachel from United Kingdom – 3 September 2023 (10/10)
Such a beautiful traditional Lindian family home. I have never stayed in such a well equipped villa, they even had a whisk and cake tins! The family were super helpful and made sure we had fruit, yogurt, tea and coffee, soft drinks beers and snacks for our arrival. Washing tablets, dish washer tabs, washing up liquid etc were provided which usually isnt the case.. The only issue we had was deciding who had which beautiful bedroom! Absolutely fantastic villa and hosts.
