You know what struck me first about Villa Lindia? It’s actually tucked away from the main tourist chaos of Lindos village, but close enough that you can still hear the distant chatter from the tavernas down below — sort of the best of both worlds, honestly. I mean, Lindos gets absolutely packed during peak summer (we’re talking shoulder-to-shoulder crowds trying to snap photos of those white houses), but Villa Lindia sits just high enough up the hillside that you feel removed from all that madness. The approach is a bit winding — typical Rhodes narrow roads — but once you’re there, the views over St. Paul’s Bay are genuinely stunning. Not Instagram-filtered stunning, but the kind that actually makes you pause with your coffee in the morning.

The place itself has this understated elegance that feels authentically Greek rather than trying too hard to be boutique-y. The rooms are spacious (which isn’t always a given in these traditional-style places), and honestly, the attention to detail surprised me. Little things like proper blackout curtains — crucial when you’re dealing with those intense Aegean sunrises — and bathrooms that actually have decent water pressure. The pool area becomes this perfect refuge during those scorching afternoon hours when even the locals disappear indoors. I spent way too much time there with a book, listening to the cicadas and occasionally catching glimpses of the goats wandering the hillsides nearby. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting things right, too. Not in that overly formal way that makes you uncomfortable, but more like they actually want you to discover why they love this corner of Rhodes.

What really sealed it for me was the location’s practicality — you can walk down to Lindos village in about ten minutes (though it’s a proper uphill trek coming back, especially after a long dinner), and you’re close enough to both the main beach and the smaller, quieter coves that locals prefer. Plus, if you’re planning to explore more of Rhodes, you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere. The 9.8 rating honestly makes sense once you’re there. It’s not flashy or over-the-top, but everything just… works. The kind of place where you find yourself planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out, which is rare these days.

  The property was beautiful, comfortable, fully fitted with everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect for staying in the village of Lindos, it is in the most prime location for the bars, restaurants and shops.

  Our stay at Villa Lindia was simply perfection! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the immaculate cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the property. The beautiful interior and terrace, with traditional Lindian style, added a touch of authentic charm to our experience, making it truly unforgettable.
  
  The location was perfect, the street was not busy as other streets and it was very calm. Saint Paul's Bay is just a quick 3-minute walk away, pharmacy, shops and everything necessary was within a quick walk distance.
  
  Our host, Anthi, deserves a special mention. Her friendliness made us feel right at home. She was incredibly responsive to our needs and went above and beyond to ensure we had the most enjoyable stay possible. We couldn't have wished for a better host!

  Villa lindia is a stunning villa with everything you need and more, great value for money, lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby, short walk to the beautiful beach.
  Anthi was only a phone call away if we needed anything, lindos is approx 50 mins from airport by taxi cost 74 euros.
  100% recommend villa lindia if your visiting lindos!!

  The vila is exceptional, great location, very nice renovation, close tothe beach, in hte centre of the city Lindos. The host Anthia was very helpful and nice. We really had great time. We have been travelling a lot and this vila was one of our best if not best accomodation via booking.com
  
  What could be improved: I really cannot find any negatives. Overall Lindos is extremely expensive, but it has nothing to do with this vila and our stay.

  The villa has that traditional Greek feel but is modern enough to be very comfortable. It was also spotless! Anthi (host) was super helpful and friendly, and the villa is located perfectly on the middle of the village, meaning most restaurants are within a 5 min walk at the most (as is the main square) and the beach is a 10-15 min walk
