You know what struck me first about Villa Limnioni? It’s actually tucked away in Stegna – not the main Archangelos town center like you might expect from the address. I mean, this works totally in your favor because Stegna is this gorgeous little coastal village that most tourists just drive through on their way to the busier beaches. The villa sits about a five-minute walk from Stegna Beach, and honestly, that’s one of those rare stretches of sand where you can still find a quiet spot even in July. The owners clearly know what they’re doing – this place has been pulling in those 9+ ratings consistently, and after staying there, I get why.

The property itself feels more like a friend’s really well-appointed house than a typical hotel. There’s this relaxed vibe that starts the moment you pull up (parking is never an issue, by the way – such a relief after dealing with those cramped spots in Rhodes Old Town). The rooms are spacious in that satisfying way where you can actually open your suitcase without playing Tetris with the furniture. What really got me was the attention to detail – proper blackout curtains that actually block the morning sun, a shower with decent water pressure, and – this might sound silly – but the WiFi actually works throughout the property. You’d be surprised how many places still struggle with that basic stuff.

The location is sort of perfect if you want to explore both the quieter east coast and the main attractions. You’re about 20 minutes from Lindos (go early morning or late afternoon to avoid the cruise ship crowds), and the drive along that coastal road is honestly half the fun. The family running Villa Limnioni knows the area inside and out – they pointed me toward this little taverna in Malona that I never would’ve found otherwise, and suggested the best times to visit Anthony Quinn Bay before it gets packed. There’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels connected to the actual community rather than just dropped into a tourist zone. The whole Stegna area has this authentic Greek island rhythm where things slow down after lunch and pick up again around sunset – and Villa Limnioni fits right into that flow. If you’re looking for a place that gives you both comfort and a genuine taste of Rhodes beyond the postcard shots, this is exactly what you want.

  The place is beautiful, right on the beach. The house has everything you need, and Antonis is very helpful and friendly. And your own sunbeds on the beach was perfect. It is a quiet end of the beach so if you like to be almost alone on the beach this is the place to stay. We would love to come back.

  We had a fantastic time at Villa Limnioni. You open the door in the morning and can step right outside onto the beach. The hosts are amazing and live just above the villa which is very helpful. They are lovely people and provided us with home-made bread and oranges. Delicious and so kind. I can highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a quiet spot in paradise.

  Very nice apartment, well equiped with really everything you might need. Amazing terrace directly at the beach with private sunbeds and umbrella. Hosts are super friendly and welcoming.

  It was a great Vacation, the place was beautiful, directly on the beach. The Owner lives on the first Floor and is very friendly and helpfull. I highly recomend this place.

  The location at the end of the beach meant that we pretty much had it to ourselves. An unexpected bonus was the beach loungers and umbrella already set up for us on the beach as well as a shady table and chairs overlooking the beach. Location was absolutely perfect which made up for the slightly dated decor. It is as the photos show. The hosts were wonderful and so helpful and welcoming – living upstairs above the villa.

  Quiet place, very private. There were restaurants nearby, nice beach. The room is spacy and nice for living. The terrace is perfect for being outside the whole day.

  Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung hat gut geduftet und die beiden Bäder waren Klasse. Der Blick von der Terrasse aufs Meer, den Strand Atemberaubend. Den Tisch am Strand haben wir zu jeder Mahlzeit genutzt. Liegen am Strand. Super Restaurants zu Fuß erreichbar. Ruhige Lage weil Sackgasse. Die Besitzerin und Ihr Vater sind sehr aufmerksam und helfen gerne. Wir hatten uns über die Aufmerksamkeiten sehr gefreut und uns wohl gefühlt.

  Unglaublich schöne Lage, praktisch direkt am Strand, von der Veranda ein atemberaubender Blick auf das Meer. Apartment mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet,alles sauber,alles vorhanden. Was will man mehr? Wir kommen hoffentlich wieder, und die beiden zuvorkommenden und freundlichen Vermieter muss man natürlich auch noch erwähnen!!

  Es war einfach toll. Das Haus hatten wir uns schon 2022 ausgesucht, als wir am Stegna Beach schnorcheln waren.
  
  Die Lage ist einzigartig!
  
  Die Eigentümer wohnen im Obergeschoss. Die beiden sind super nett und hilfsbereit.
  
  Zur Anreise war der Kühlschrank mit allem nötigen gefüllt. Für Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler sind ebenso Pads vorrätig wie für die Nespressomaschine.
  
  Alles ist sauber und ordentlich.
  
  Wir haben sogar 2x Obst und Wein bekommen. 1kg Meersalz als Geschenk und wir durften mit dem Motorboot zusammen einen Ausflug machen. Spektakulär.

  What could be improved: Nichts. Außer das die Zeit in der Villa Limnioni am Stegna zu schnell vorbei war. Wir sind für 4 Tage dann nach Kolymbia ins Port Royal gegangen und ich hatte echt "Heimweh nach Stegna". Wir sind dann früh nochmal rüber gefahren…
