Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about Villa Euphrosyne? I was expecting another typical Greek island hotel, but this place actually feels like someone’s incredibly tasteful private residence that they’ve decided to share. It’s tucked into Lindos in this perfect spot where you’re close enough to hear the gentle buzz from the main village square in the evenings, but far enough up the hillside that you wake up to complete silence and those ridiculous Aegean views instead of tourist chatter.
The whole property has this effortless elegance thing going on – I mean, you can tell someone put serious thought into every detail, but it never feels stuffy or trying-too-hard. The rooms are what I’d call “Instagram-worthy without being Instagram-bait,” if that makes sense. Traditional Lindian architecture with these gorgeous arched doorways and locally-sourced stone, but then you’ve got modern touches that actually work instead of feeling forced. The bathrooms alone are worth mentioning – proper rainfall showers and this beautiful local marble that stays cool even in the August heat. And honestly, the beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve encountered in Greece, which isn’t always a given even at higher-end places.
What really sets Villa Euphrosyne apart though is how it sits in relation to everything else in Lindos. You’re literally a five-minute walk down these charming cobblestone paths to the main village, where you can grab dinner at Mavrikos (definitely do that) or browse the ceramic shops that line the narrow streets. But here’s the thing locals know – you can also take this little footpath behind the property that leads to a quieter section of the beach, avoiding the crowds that pile up near the main Lindos beach entrance. The staff mentioned it casually during check-in, and it became my daily routine. The acropolis views from the hotel’s terrace are spectacular too, especially around sunset when the ancient ruins catch this golden light that makes you understand why people have been drawn to this spot for thousands of years. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in Lindos generally – the village is pedestrian-only – but they’ve sorted that out with a designated area that’s actually convenient, not like some places where you’re hauling luggage up endless stairs. I stayed in early June, which I’d recommend over peak summer if you can swing it. Still warm enough for proper beach days, but you’re not competing with cruise ship crowds, and the evening temperatures are perfect for those long dinners that somehow stretch until midnight without you noticing.

Great location for the beach and exploring Lindos, we were here for our sons wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The bedrooms are a good size, all with an en-suite shower room and really good air conditioning, plenty of towels, including beach towels. Kitchen is well equipped and provides a nice welcome basket for your first day. Lots of sundries provided like bin bags etc. Initially we didn’t use the hot tub, but then asked about adjusting the temperature, once we realised you can reduce the temperature we did use it, during the day and in the evening, really lovely. Property comes with a resident stray cat, please feed her! Effie responded to all our queries really quickly and was very helpful throughout our stay. 10/10
What could be improved: We did miss a pool, but it was more important to be in Lindos town rather than an out of town villa with a pool where you would need a car. There was nothing else to dislike.Julie from United Kingdom – 9 June 2025 (10/10)
The property is clean, exceptional facilities and fantastic location

The property was beautiful and well situated. It was clean and tastefully decorated. The host Effie was the absolute best, she was nice and very helpful with all the information we needed, property related or not. 100% Recommend and will probably come back in the futur! Thank you for everything!

Super cute place to stay… both the town of Lindos and the Villa Euphrosyne! Effie & Kostas were wonderful hosts, super helpful and set us up with all kinds of treats and comfortable touches, making our stay very enjoyable. The hot tub was clean and easily accessible, the water for showers super hot and the washer was very helpful. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and extra blankets were available.
Highly recommend!Agnieszka from Netherlands – 27 October 2024 (10/10)
A great location, quiet, the view; walking distance to the centre/restaurants,
A clear and smooth communication with the owner; everything arranged on the arrival day.

Clean, beautiful place at the side of Lindos centre.
The jacuzi is perfect this time of the year in the evening.Gundula from Austria – 28 September 2024 (10/10)
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Euphrosyne. Effie and Kostas are very kind and helpful and and always reachable during the stay but also before our arrival.
The Villa itself was as on the photos (we would say even more beautiful), clean and comfy. It is in a quiet street/part of Lindos and close to the beach (about 10 mins by foot) but also close to shops and restaurants. Just around the corner is a beautiful wine bar and the next super market is about 5 mins away (a mini market is also around the corner). We had the perfect holiday.Tatiana from Germany – 11 September 2024 (10/10)
From first impression to the end we and the kids were very pleased. It's wonderful. The villa can comfortably accommodate 2 or 3 families, there is plenty of space and each suite is like a separate apartment. Amazing views, warm jacuzzi bath, silence and views of the sea and the Acropolis. It is a must-see!
What could be improved: I wish I could go there again!Orly from Israel – 24 August 2024 (9/10)
The house is comfortable, clean, and equipped for family entertainment, the location is perfect, close to the shopping streets in Lindos, and there is a supermarket and full of restaurants near the house 7 walk from the beach. The hosts are available for any questions and even additional recommendations, just fun hospitality with a homely feeling
What could be improved: The house is not covered so it is very, very hot to eat outsideNicky from Australia – 2 October 2023 (10/10)
Amazing views and so beautifully styled and modern and clean.
What could be improved: Nothing – it was perfect
