Villa Estella with pool & jacuzzi in Lindos

Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places around Rhodes, but Villa Estella honestly caught me off guard – and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s tucked away in the Vlicha area, which is actually perfect because you’re close enough to Lindos village (maybe a 10-minute walk down the hill) but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you can actually hear yourself think. The first thing that hits you when you arrive is how quiet it is – well, except for the occasional goat bell from the hillside, which honestly becomes pretty charming after a day or two.

The pool area is where you’ll probably spend most of your time, and rightfully so. It’s not massive, but it doesn’t need to be – the jacuzzi sits right next to it, and there’s something really satisfying about switching between the two while looking out over the olive groves. I mean, the view isn’t directly ocean-facing, but you catch glimpses of the Aegean through the trees, especially from the upper terrace. The rooms themselves are solid – clean, well-maintained, with that Mediterranean tile work that actually feels authentic rather than trying too hard. Air conditioning works properly (trust me, you’ll need it in July), and the kitchenette is surprisingly well-equipped if you want to grab supplies from the little market near Vlicha Beach.

What really makes this place work is the location within the location, if that makes sense. You’re in Lindos territory, so you can walk to that incredible acropolis and the postcard-perfect village with its white houses, but you’re staying somewhere that feels more like a local neighborhood. The beach at Vlicha is literally a five-minute stroll – it’s less crowded than Lindos main beach and the water’s just as crystal clear. Parking isn’t a nightmare like it is closer to the village center, which anyone who’s driven around Lindos in summer will appreciate. The owners clearly know what they’re doing too – check-in was smooth, they left some local wine and fruit, and when our bathroom faucet got a bit loose, someone was there to fix it within an hour. That 9.2 rating makes total sense when you add it all up – it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but it nails everything it sets out to do, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want from a Greek island getaway.

  Villa Estella is located close to the beach (walking distance less than 5 min) with a couple of nice restaurants and bars. It is also very close to Lindos (less than 3km or 5 min by car) with additional beaches and bays.
  
  The villa itself is spacious with good beds and furniture. The pool with its view is astonishing and the jacuzzi provides a nice relaxation in the cooler evenings (April).
  
  The staff was superb, pro-active and very friendly. They contacted us proactive regarding the arrival time, provided tips and recommendations for restaurants and offered a late checkout.

  Man hatte einen mega tollen Ausblick auf das Meer😍 Der Gastgeber hat einen super lieb empfangen und alles in der Unterkunft erklärt. Wenn man Fragen hatte, konnte man sie zu jeder Uhrzeit stellen und hat direkt Hilfe bekommen👍🏼
  Es war alles so, wie auf den Bildern und der Beschreibung .
  Ich würde dort immer wieder gerne hin.
