Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Villa Corinna – I mean, Lakhania isn’t exactly on everyone’s radar when they think of Rhodes. But you know what? That’s exactly what makes this place so damn special. It sits right on Paralia Salamina, which is basically this gorgeous stretch of beach that most tourists completely miss because they’re all crowded up in Lindos or Rhodes Town. The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place – not in that over-polished resort way, but more like staying at a really stylish friend’s beach house.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re discovering the real Rhodes. Lakhania village is just up the hill (maybe a five-minute walk), and it’s one of those authentic Greek villages where locals still outnumber tourists. There’s this little taverna called Platanos where they make the best lamb kleftiko I’ve had outside of Crete, and the old guys still play backgammon under the plane trees every evening. Villa Corinna gets this balance right – you’re close enough to feel connected to actual Greek life, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you can actually hear the waves at night instead of party music. The beach access is direct too, which sounds obvious but trust me, half the “beachfront” places I’ve stayed make you hike down some sketchy path with your beach gear.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to detail that you only notice after you’ve been there a day or two. The rooms have these little terraces that catch the morning light perfectly (get one facing southeast if you can), and the housekeeping staff somehow manages to time their rounds so you never feel interrupted. I actually ended up chatting with Maria at the front desk about the best hiking trails – turns out there’s this incredible walk to Plimmiri that hardly anyone knows about. The pool area gets busy around 11am when families arrive, but if you’re an early riser like me, you’ll have it to yourself with your coffee. Parking is easy, which is more than I can say for most places along this coast, and they’ve got this informal arrangement with Kostas who runs boat trips to some hidden coves that you literally cannot reach any other way. Look, is it perfect? Well, the wifi can be spotty during peak season, and if you’re looking for nightlife, you’ll need to drive to Gennadi. But honestly, after three stays here over two years, I keep coming back because Villa Corinna understands something that most hotels miss – sometimes the best luxury is just being left alone in a beautiful place that feels real.

  Ein Traumurlaub direkt am Meer!
  Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Corinna war einfach fantastisch. Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich – mit direktem Zugang zum Strand, was diesen Urlaub zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht hat.
  Die Villa selbst ist großzügig geschnitten, sauber, hervorragend ausgestattet, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und in einem sehr guten Zustand.
  Der Außenbereich mit Terrasse, Pool und Meerblick lädt zum Entspannen ein, und man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause.
  Perfekt für alle, die Ruhe, Komfort und eine besondere Umgebung schätzen.

  Das Haus war traumhaft schön, direkt am Strand mit wunderschönem und sauberem Pool in einer ruhigen Lage. Der schöne Strand ist kilometerlang und kaum besucht. Alles was wir brauchten, war im Haus: Handtücher, Strandtücher, Bademantel,Seife, Shampoo. Die Küche war sehr praktisch eingerichtet und hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Das Pool wurde in 8 Tagen zwei Mal gereinigt und war super sauber. Das Haus wurde auch zwischendrin gereinigt und alles war perfekt. Als wir ankamen, waren schon Essen für das Frühstück und Getränke da, was sehr praktisch war, da wir spät ankamen. Lamprini war extrem freundlich und hat uns noch sehr spät am Abend via Video zum Haus gelotzt, da wir mit der Dunkelheit das Haus nicht fanden. Sie hat uns alle Informationen gegeben, die wir brauchten und alle unsere Fragen beantwortet. Alles am Haus war perfekt, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wir gehen gerne wieder hin.

  La vue sur la mer et la proximité de la plage.
  L accueil de Lamprini à été parfait avec quelques petits surprises que nous avons apprécié lors de notre arrivée.
  Les serviettes de plages, de bains et peignoirs pour chaque chambre.
  La propreté de la villa et de la piscine.
  Les nombreux équipements présents dans la villa, on se sent comme à la maison.
