So here’s the thing about Villa Cervus Dianae – I almost walked right past it the first time because it doesn’t scream “look at me” from the street in Kallithea. But honestly, that’s part of what makes this place so damn good. It sits quietly in this residential pocket where you can actually hear yourself think, yet you’re still close enough to the main Kallithea strip that you won’t feel cut off from everything.

The moment you step inside, you get why this place has that perfect 10 rating. The owner (or maybe manager, I’m not entirely sure) clearly gives a shit about the details – and I mean the kind of details that actually matter when you’re trying to unwind. The rooms have this lived-in elegance that feels more like staying at your well-traveled aunt’s house than some sterile hotel box. You know what really got me? The way they’ve arranged the common areas so there are these little nooks where you can disappear with a book, but also spots where you naturally end up chatting with other guests if that’s your vibe. The whole place has this organic flow that obviously wasn’t designed by committee.

What really sealed it for me was discovering their outdoor spaces – there’s this terrace area that catches the evening light just right, and honestly, it became my daily ritual to grab a drink and watch the neighborhood come alive after the afternoon heat breaks. The staff seems to know exactly when to check in on you and when to leave you alone, which is honestly a rare skill. Parking was surprisingly painless too (always a concern in Rhodes), and they actually gave useful local recommendations – not just the tourist trap stuff, but places where locals eat. The location puts you within easy reach of Kallithea’s thermal springs, obviously, but you’re also positioned perfectly for day trips around the island without dealing with the chaos of Rhodes town traffic every morning. I mean, it’s a 4-star place that feels like it’s trying harder than most 5-star spots I’ve stayed at – sometimes that extra effort to get things right matters more than fancy marble everywhere.

  Facilities were excellent and the hosts were very welcoming, offering to cook traditional Greek food for us one evening and providing some food, drink and essentials on our arrival. Only 15/20 mins from Rhodes town by car and taxi and bus services were easy to access.

  We had an incredible stay at Villa Cervus Dianae in August 2024. The villa is beautiful and hosts were amazing with so many lovely touches to make our stay memorable

  It‘s a amazing property and has a beautiful pool. It was very clean as well. Also the hist are very very generous and brought us really good souvlaki.

  The landlady was the nicest lady in the world! She brought us traditional food & parting gifts after our stay. The villa was big & clean, the outdoor area was very nice & the big pool was amazing. All kitchen/bathroom utensils worked fine, and every room had a working TV.
  
  What could be improved: The location is fine, but it was a bit far from places, so it wasnt as easy to get a taxi. I would recommend renting a car, or getting in touch with a taxi company that knows the location.

  Tout. L'accueil était fantastique avec un panier garni de nourriture et boissons, l'intérieur de la villa et ses extérieurs étaient géniaux (mention spéciale pour la piscine, les transats et l'espace cuisine et repas extérieur), tout était fantastique. Bonne localisation avec Rhodes a 15 minutes en voiture, un charmant petit village a 15 minutes a pieds et plusieurs supermarchés a quelques minutes en voiture. L'avant dernier jour les hôtes nous on préparé un très bon déjeuner et nous ont grandement facilité notre dernier jour avec un late check-out et un taxi réservé pour l'aéroport. Mille mercis pour tout, nous reviendrons

  La casa si trova esattamente tra Faliraki e Rodi, quindi in una zona molto tranquilla, fuori dal caos cittadino. Pulizia impeccabile, locali molto ampi. Per elencare diversi pro che fai fatica a trovare in altri posti: zanzariere in ogni finestra, aria condizionata in ogni stanza, televisore in ogni camera da letto). Arriviamo poi al giardino, immenso ma non solo: è stato fatto proprio un lavoro magnifico dai proprietari. Tutta la zona piscina è nuova di 2 anni. Vi si trova anche un magnifico gazebo illuminato per pranzi \ cene con amici \ famiglia. La casa offre anche un grande barbecue (le attrezzature ci sono tutte). La cucina è completa di tutto (Blender, montalatte, macchina del caffè per macinato o cialde, forno, lavastoviglie, frigo + freezer, spremiagrumi elettrico).
  Occhio agli irrigatori del giardino, consiglio di portare tutte le proprio cose all'interno della villa.
  Ultima cosa da segnalare è l'estrema gentilezza dei proprietari. All'arrivo (aereo in ritardo, quindi troppo tardi per fare spesa o andare al ristorante), ci hanno accolto con qualche specialità locale, una bottiglia di vino e 7 litri d'acqua al fresco in frigo. Una sera siamo stati invitati al ristorante della proprietaria e ci hanno offerto pure la cena. Persone davvero squisite.
  
  What could be improved: Mobilio interno forse un po' vecchiotto, tra cui alcuni elettrodomestici in cucina come forno e lavastoviglie (per nulla degni di una casa come questa).
  Deve essere segnalato che purtroppo, soprattutto la zona cucina era pieno di formiche, quindi ogni giorno si deve pulire quella parte. Altra problematica è "l'accesso abusivo" da parte di conigli e gatti: per quanto riguarda i conigli, si vengono a mangiare il prato attorno alla piscina, mentre per i gatti semplicemente randagi, quindi in cerca di cibo (ma il consiglio che darei è comunque di tenere tutti i punti di accesso chiusi, almeno per le finestre, tenere le zanzariere, altrimenti vi è il rischio che entrino in casa per mangiare). Se per voi gli animali non sono un problema, allora siete a posto. A noi non hanno dato alcun fastidio.

  De locatie was perfect. Zowel dichtbij als Faliraki en Rhodos-stad. Ook de gastvrouw was erg gastvrij! Bij aankomst in de villa stonden hapjes klaar en ook kregen we tijdens ons verblijf heerlijke souvlaki van de gastvrouw! Bovendien was het huis super schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ook het zwembad en de tuin waren heerlijk.

  Η υποδοχή που είχαμε στο κατάλυμα ήταν εξαιρετική! Μας περίμεναν με ένα τραπέζι γεμάτο με τοπικα προϊόντα, κρασιά, σνακ και δώρα! Οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν πολύ ευγενικοί και ότι θέλαμε μας το παρείχαν. Το κατάλυμα είναι πολύ άνετο σε περιοχή που δεν έχει φασαρία κ μπορείς να χαλαρώσεις. Το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!!

  Από την πρώτη στιγμή που επικοινωνησαμε με τους ιδιοκτήτες είχαν τη διάθεση να μας βοηθήσουν σε ότι χρειάστηκε.Μας βοήθησαν να κλείσουμε αυτοκίνητο που μας το έφεραν στο αεροδρόμιο και μπορέσαμε να κινηθούμε!
  Λόγω της ορκομωσίας της κόρης μας,μας παραγγειλαν , στο καλύτερο ζαχαροπλαστείο του νησιού ,το σχέδιο της τούρτας που θέλαμε και μας την έφεραν στο σπίτι!! Μας υποδέχτηκαν με κεράσματα και γεμάτο το ψυγείο με υλικά για το πρώτο μας πρωινό και με άφθονα νερά και καρπούζι!!
  Η βίλα ήταν θαυμάσια!!Οι χώροι της μεγάλοι, καθαροί , ευήλιοι και άριστα εξοπλισμένοι!!
  Και το καλύτερο η πισίνα και η αυλή!!
  Μεγάλη πισίνα 1,50μ. βάθος με άριστο φωτισμό για το βράδυ!! Ξύλινες ξαπλώστρες με στρώματα και πολλές πετσέτες.Στρωμα φουσκωτό, μπάλες και παιχνίδια υπήρχαν στην πισίνα.Ενα πανέμορφο κιόσκι με μεγάλο τραπέζι και καρέκλες και μία ψησταριά υπήρχαν στην αυλή.
  Οπότε χρειάστηκε να παραγγείλουμε φαγητό μας τα έφεραν στο σπίτι!
  Υπάρχει και ένα μίνι μάρκετ εκεί κοντά στα 100μ.
  Και όταν ήταν να φύγουμε,οι ιδιοκτήτες ήρθαν με αναμνηστικά από τη Ρόδο για τον καθένα μας!!
  Σας ευχαριστούμε για την ευγενική σας συμπεριφορά και τη φιλοξενία σας!!Συνεχίστε έτσι , αξίζετε το απόλυτο δέκα!!
  Όταν ξανά βρεθούμε στη Ρόδο, σίγουρα θα ξαναπάμε στο σπίτι αυτό και στους ανθρώπους αυτούς που μας έκαναν να νιώσουμε σαν το σπίτι μας!!!
  
  What could be improved: Αν έχεις νοικιάσει αυτοκίνητο , δεν υπάρχει κάτι αρνητικό για το κατάλυμα αυτό!
