You know what caught me off guard about Villa Aurora? It’s not actually in Faliraki proper – it sits on that stretch of the main road between Rhodes town and Lindos, which honestly turned out to be perfect. I mean, you get the best of both worlds without the chaos of being right in the party zone. The first thing you notice pulling up is how quiet it feels, even though you’re technically on Ethniki Odos. They’ve got this clever setup where the hotel faces away from the road, so there’s no traffic noise at all.

The whole place has this relaxed, family-run vibe that’s getting harder to find these days. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling or complicated explanations, just genuine helpfulness from people who actually seem to enjoy their jobs. What really sold me was the attention to details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a week. The rooms stay cool even during those brutal August afternoons (and trust me, I was there during a heat wave), the water pressure is fantastic, and someone clearly thought about where you’d want to plug in your phone charger. Small stuff, but it adds up.

The location is honestly brilliant once you figure it out. You’re maybe a 10-minute walk to Faliraki’s main strip if you want the nightlife scene, but you can also hop on one of those local buses that run constantly to Lindos – way easier than dealing with rental car parking in that medieval maze of streets. Plus there’s a little taverna just down the road that barely anyone knows about, where the owner’s grandmother still makes the bread every morning. I stumbled onto it by accident and ended up eating there three times. The beach situation is solid too – Faliraki’s main beach is close enough for convenience, but if you’re willing to walk a bit further (or take that bus), you can hit some of the quieter coves that the day-trippers from Rhodes town never bother with.

What impressed me most was how they handle the summer crowds. Even when the island gets absolutely packed in July and August, Villa Aurora maintains this calm atmosphere. The pool area never felt overcrowded, probably because they limit the number of rooms, and the staff genuinely seems to coordinate things so you’re not fighting for lounge chairs at 7 AM like some places. I actually overheard other guests talking about coming back for their third or fourth stay, which tells you something. The 9.6 rating makes total sense when you’re there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place on the island, but everything just works the way it should. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re trying to actually relax on vacation.

  The location was up on a hill and we had an amazing view. The rooms are big and there is air conditioning in every single room. The kitchen was well supplied with a toaster, dishwasher, coffee machine, and water filter.
  The host was extremely nice, recommended some really great local restaurants and even brought us ice cream:) We also had somebody cleaning the pool while we were there and the host very quickly responded to all our requests (needed a key for one of the bathrooms and the next morning someone came to bring us one).
  
  What could be improved: It was a bit difficult to share 4 bathrooms with 14 people and the shower pressure was not great, but that might have been due to the fires in Rhodes and the lack of water on the island.

  La villa è praticamente meravigliosa! Abbiamo vissuto in questo spettacolare angolo di paradiso per 3 indimenticabili notti e 4 giorni. L’host è stato sempre gentilissimo e reperibile! Infatti ha atteso il nostro arrivo tardivo e ci ha permesso di lasciare la villa nel pomeriggio nel giorno della partenza dandoci la possibilità di godere dell’ultimo giorno di mare. La strada per arrivare può sembrare difficile all’inizio, ma basta poi inviare la posizione delle mappe da una strada principale e diventa veramente semplicissimo raggiungerla. Nella villa ci sono tutti i confort, primo su tutti una meravigliosa piscina circondata da un meraviglioso patio dove potersi rilassare o divertirsi in qualsiasi momento del giorno e della notte. I letti comodissimi e tutti gli spazi sono arredati finemente. C’è un ampio parcheggio in cui sostare comodamente la macchina a noleggio e all’esterno una cassetta con il codice dove poter lasciare la chiave della villa senza doverla portare con sè. In modo che chiunque torna per primo ha sempre la disponibilità della chiave di ingresso. Insomma in questa organizzazione della villa è stato pensato proprio a tutto e io non posso fare altro che ringraziare di cuore i proprietari per avermi fatto trascorrere uno dei compleanni più belli della mia vita nella meravigliosa Rodi ❤️ Grazie di cuore!

  Erg ruim opgezet, heerlijk zwembad en vriendelijk ontvangst.
  
  What could be improved: Toegankelijkheid via slechte weg waardoor taxi’s niet tot bij de accommodatie komen. Tevens is is vindbaarheid erg slecht, erg moeilijk te vinden door taxichauffeurs en overige contacten.

  Utrolig fint hus med air conditioning i alle rom. Ikke minst sorte solskjermer utafor alle rom som gjør det helt mørkt i alle rom på natta. Bassenget var veldig deilig, og at det er 10 solsenger var akkurat perfekt for oss.
  
  Labros gjorde check in og check out og var veldig høflig og snill. God service!
  
  What could be improved: Kjøkkenet var kanskje litt lite for 15 personer og det at villaen enda ikke har adresse gjorde det litt vanskelig å få tak i taxi av og til. Men dette tror jeg de skulle fikse i fremtiden.

  Villa nuova, ben curata e con ambienti spaziosi, posizione ottimale in una zona tranquilla che garantiva privacy. I letti erano comodi e l’aria condizionata era presente in ogni stanza.
  
  What could be improved: Purtroppo la villa non era adatta ad ospitare 14 persone poiché i bagni erano pochi rispetto al numero di persone, l’acqua calda non era mai disponibile per le docce, non erano presenti le stoviglie per tutti ( posate, piatti e bicchieri, infatti abbiamo dovuto acquistare tutto in monouso). Le stanza non avevano armadi e non avevano chiavi per poter chiudere le porte, compreso i bagni.
  La strada per arrivare alla villa è completamente sterrata e si fa difficoltà a raggiungere la villa se non con una macchina. Wi-fi non funzionante per l’intero soggiorno, nonostante i vari tentativi di riavvio. Nel piano inferiore mancavano le finestre, anche nel bagno. Infine difficoltà a smaltire i rifiuti poiché non erano presenti secchi esterni.
