You know what struck me first about Villa Anolia? It’s tucked away on this quiet street in Koskinou where you can actually hear the cicadas in the evening – and trust me, that’s rare when you’re this close to Rhodes town. The villa sits behind these traditional stone walls that locals here have been building for centuries, but step inside and you realize someone has seriously thought about what modern travelers actually want. The private pool isn’t just a selling point; it’s genuinely private, surrounded by oleander and bougainvillea that the owner clearly knows how to maintain. I mean, you can swim at midnight if you want and the only thing watching you might be the neighbor’s cat perched on the wall.

What really gets me about this place is how it manages to feel both secluded and connected at the same time. Koskinou itself is one of those villages that tour buses drive through but don’t really stop in – which honestly works in your favor. You’re maybe a ten-minute walk from the main Rhodes-Lindos road where you can catch buses or grab a taxi, but the villa feels like it’s in its own little pocket of Greece. The house has this way of staying cool naturally (those thick walls aren’t just for show), and the owner has added modern touches without going overboard – good Wi-Fi, proper shower pressure, a kitchen that’s actually equipped for cooking if you pick up ingredients from the little market down the hill. The terrace overlooking the pool catches this perfect cross-breeze in the late afternoon, and I found myself just sitting there with a book way longer than I planned.

Here’s the thing about staying here – it changes how you experience this part of Rhodes. Instead of being stuck in the tourist bubble around the old town, you start to notice things like the way the light hits the village church in the morning, or how the local taverna (it’s called Symposium, just a five-minute walk) fills up with actual Greek families on Sunday afternoons. The villa’s location means you can walk to the beach at Koskinou Bay when you want that Mediterranean swimming experience, but you’ve got your own pool for those lazy hours when you just want to float and not think about anything. Parking is right there – no dragging luggage up three flights of stairs like some places. The whole setup just makes sense in a way that tells you someone who actually travels designed this space, not just someone trying to maximize rental income.

  We were staying in this villa with 7 of my friends and we absolutely loved it! Super spacious and had all the facilities you would need. We were stunned of how many balconies this Villa has. The pool area was our favourite and the sunbeds were super comfy. The area around the house is very peaceful but you will need taxi or rental car to get around Rhodes. The distance to for example Rhodes town or Faliraki is only around 15minutes. There is also few shops and restaurants in Koskinou so we walked to those. The staff of this Villa is really friendly and easy to contact. Will definitely be coming back here sometime!!
  
  What could be improved: At night time there was almost no water coming out of the taps/showers and it was mostly just cold water.

  Fantastic place to spend time with wider family or friends – extremely much space, beautiful swimming-pool with towels, great views, roof terrace, kitchen terrace, grill, 3 fridges, each room has large terrace, generally exceeded our expectations about space and nice garden, nearly every second day maintenance and garden service for the garden and swimming pool.
  
  What could be improved: There are only 2 bathrooms, instead of 3 stated in description (third is only a small toilet). The only disadvantage of this villa is a quite big need of bathrooms reconstruction – the only uncomfortable places in villa (basins, taps, toilets, …) – all clean but VERY much used.

  Everything about this accomodation was perfect, very spacious , everything you may need during your holiday it had it. Clean , luxurious each room quality above standard.

  We spent a wonderful week at Villa Anolia. The villa was incredibly spacious, modern, clean and well-equipped. It worked perfectly for our large family and host Sofia was so kind and helpful. The pool area is perfect, with high quality sun beds and a shaded seating area. The location feels very private but still convenient, with beautiful Rhodes Town a short drive away & activities such as the water park, go karting & lovely Kalithea Springs nearby. I can highly recommend this wonderful villa & would certainly return.

  The villa is huge and absolute fantastic, well equipped with all kind of stuff needed for a relaxing vacation. The pool was excelent, clean and fun – there was even an inflatable unicorn. The rooms were big and comfortable. The living and the kitchen area is so pleasant. The host was kindfull. We got also backup keys, which was great. We felt so good here that we didn't want to leave the house.
