You know what hit me first about V&G Cozy Home? The name actually makes sense – it really does feel like you’re staying at someone’s house, but in the best possible way. Tucked away in Pilona Village (which honestly, most tourists drive right past without knowing what they’re missing), this place sits in that sweet spot between Vlicha Bay and the main Rhodes action. I mean, you’re close enough to hit Lindos when the mood strikes, but far enough from the cruise ship crowds that you can actually hear yourself think.

The whole setup is refreshingly low-key – none of that marble lobby nonsense you get at the big resorts. What you do get is this genuine Greek hospitality that’s hard to find these days. The owners, well, they actually seem to care whether you’re having a good time, which sounds basic but trust me, it’s not always a given. The rooms have this lived-in comfort that designer hotels spend fortunes trying to fake. Sure, it’s not going to win any interior design awards, but everything works, it’s spotlessly clean, and honestly? After a day of exploring, you just want a place that feels like home. The air conditioning actually cools the room (miracle!), and the beds are proper comfortable – not too soft, not like sleeping on concrete.

Here’s what really sold me though – the location is pure gold if you know how to work it. You’re literally a five-minute walk to Vlicha Beach, which locals will tell you is one of the better stretches of sand on this part of the island. No beach bars blasting music, just clear water and enough space to actually relax. For groceries and decent tavernas, Lardos is right there – and I’m talking about the kind of family-run places where they still argue about whose grandmother makes the best moussaka. Parking’s never an issue (try finding that in Lindos old town), and if you’re planning day trips, you’re perfectly positioned. Twenty minutes to Lindos, half an hour to Rhodes town, and all those little villages tucked into the hills are suddenly accessible without feeling like a major expedition. The whole area gets this amazing quiet in the evenings – you can actually sit outside and have a conversation without competing with traffic or music from six different bars. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying longer than planned because, well, why rush?

  Wir haben das Haus über die Ostertage mit unserer Familie gemietet (für vier Personen sehr großzügig geschnitten).
  Bereits zur Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir haben zwei Schlüssel bekommen. Einen zum mitnehmen und einen in einem kleinen Fach mit Zahlenschloss neben der Eingangstür.
  Alles war sehr ordentlich und gepflegt. Man hat wirklich viel Platz (innen und außen). Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es ein gemütliches Sofa mit einem großen Fernseher und einen Esstisch. Die beiden Schlafzimmer sind mit neuen bequemen Betten ausgestattet. Der Außenbereich ist mit vielen Pflanzen angelegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten sich je nach Sonnenstand und Temperatur eher in den Schatte oder die Sonne zu legen oder zu setzen.
  Die Vermieter waren sehr aufmerksam und haben uns mehrfach gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und ob wir etwas brauchen (Handtuch- und Bettwäschewechsel wurde angeboten).
  Mit dem Auto erreicht man in 3 Min. einen gut ausgestatteten Supermarkt mit einem richtig guten Konditor.
  Zahlreiche schöne Strände in der direkten Umgebung sind in wenigen Autominuten gut zu erreichen. Besonders gut haben uns Agathi Beach und Glystra Beach gefallen.
  Zur Stadt Lindos mit einer schönen Altstadt und der Akropolis dauert es keine 15 Min.

  Ev sahibi ve ailesi çok nazik ve misafirperver insanlar. Bizi küçük bir jest ile karşılamaları mutlu etti. Bize her konuda yardımcı oldular. Ev çok temizdi ve bir ailenin rahat kalması için her şey içinde mevcuttu. Konum olarak bu bölgede görülebilecek bir çok yere araba ile ulaşılabilen bir konumdadır. Evin büyük bir bahçesi ve araba park yeri mevcut.Eve yakın konumda süper market,fırın ve kahvede bulunmaktadır.
