Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Tselios Apartments & Studios? It’s actually right there on Kiotari Beach – and I mean *right there*, not some “short walk to the beach” situation where you’re hiking for twenty minutes with your beach bag. You step out, cross what’s basically a small road, and your toes are in the sand. That 9.3 rating makes complete sense once you realize how rare this kind of direct beach access is along this stretch of Rhodes’ southeast coast.

The thing about Kiotari is that it’s still got that authentic Greek island vibe without being completely overrun – at least not yet. Tselios feels like it grew organically with the area rather than being dropped in by some big hotel chain. The apartments and studios have this lived-in quality that I actually appreciate; nothing’s trying too hard to be Instagram-perfect, but everything works exactly as it should. The kitchenettes are properly equipped (I’m talking full-size fridges, not those tiny hotel mini-bars), and honestly, with the local tavernas being hit-or-miss depending on the season, having the option to grab fresh fish from the morning boats and cook it yourself is pretty sweet.

What really sold me on the place was how the owners – the Tselios family, obviously – seem to actually care about the details that matter. The Wi-Fi works throughout the property (crucial when you’re trying to upload sunset photos), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, and there’s proper parking space for each unit. I mean, try finding reliable parking near the beach anywhere else in Greece during summer – it’s a nightmare. The location puts you about a fifteen-minute drive from Lindos if you want the classic whitewashed village experience, but far enough south that you’re not dealing with tour bus crowds every day. Actually, some of the best beaches on the island are scattered along this coastline – Glystra Beach is maybe ten minutes up the road and it’s absolutely stunning, especially in the late afternoon when the light hits those cliffs just right. The four-star rating might seem modest, but I’d rather have a place that under-promises and over-delivers than the opposite. This isn’t luxury in the marble-lobby sense, but it’s comfort in all the ways that actually matter when you’re spending a week by the Mediterranean.

  Beautifully decorated and spacious apartment, perfectly suited for a family stay. It provided us with all the comforts and amenities we could have asked for. Kitchenette is well-equipped. Hospitality of our hosts was incredible. They genuinely cared about our comfort and happiness throughout our stay. They even lent some toys for our little one. The holiday apartment boasted a lovely garden that our 15-month-old son adored. It provided a safe and enjoyable space for him to explore and play, allowing us to relax. The tranquility of the surroundings added to the overall charm of the place, making it an idyllic setting for families seeking a peaceful retreat.

  The location is in a little quiet village, away from the hustle of tourism, perfect for relaxing and enjoing the nature and Greek hospitality. There are enough facilities around to not feel cast out.
  Sea is just across the road, closer than a pool in some hotels..
  The host is an exceptional person taking care of his guests like family! 😀
  
  What could be improved: Mosquitos! Even on the beach in the evening distracting from enjoying the moonroads on calm sea at nights… Come prepared with sprays/cremes and you should be covered.

  The beach, kind host, reasonably good mini apartment with all facilities inside, possibilities to explore the island further down the southern locations, nice beds, cool wind sounds especially at night! I even made a 4 hour recording of it, beautiful starlit sky. Very cheap bus tickets!
  
  What could be improved: Some restaurants and such, make music noise at night which is bothering, this stops though about 00:00, expensive supermarket in the close vicinity called Sotos. You better fill a bagage bag and do your shopping at faliraki, close to saint nektarios church and at the vasilopoulos supermarket who is 3 times cheaper than kiotari. Too many pairs of arrogant women. No man and woman couples, which is pretty rare to see.
