Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about Tsatos Luxury Residence? It’s actually tucked away on this quiet stretch of Athanasíou Diákou street in Kremasti, and I mean really quiet – which is saying something considering you’re still close enough to Rhodes airport that you’ll hear the occasional plane, but honestly it’s not bothersome at all. The whole setup feels more like staying at someone’s incredibly well-appointed home rather than a typical hotel, and I think that’s exactly what they’re going for here.

The owners clearly put thought into the little things that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. There’s proper blackout curtains (thank god, because that Greek morning sun is no joke), the air conditioning actually works without sounding like a freight train, and – this might sound weird but stick with me – the shower pressure is fantastic. I’ve stayed at plenty of places around the Dodecanese where you’re basically getting misted by lukewarm water, so this was a pleasant surprise. The rooms have this clean, modern feel without being sterile, lots of white and natural wood that somehow manages to feel both luxurious and comfortable. What I really appreciated was the kitchen setup if you get one of the suites – it’s actually functional, not just for show, which means you can grab fresh stuff from the local market and make a proper breakfast instead of paying resort prices every morning.

Kremasti itself is one of those spots that feels authentically Greek without being touristy, at least not in the overwhelming way. You’ve got the old village center with its narrow streets and traditional tavernas (there’s this place called Mavrikos about a ten-minute walk away that does incredible fresh fish), but you’re also just a quick drive to some of the better beaches on the island’s west coast. The staff at Tsatos seem to actually know the area well – they pointed me toward this little beach called Theologos that I never would have found otherwise, and it was practically empty even in late June. Check-in was smooth, parking is easy and free (which isn’t always a given), and honestly the whole experience felt refreshingly low-key. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the 9.3 rating isn’t inflated – they’re just consistently doing the basics really well, plus those thoughtful touches that make you want to come back. If you’re looking for a proper luxury resort with five restaurants and a spa, this isn’t that. But if you want a genuinely comfortable base for exploring Rhodes that doesn’t feel like every other hotel, Tsatos hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  EVERYTHING
  Clean, modern place almost brand new.
  In the welcome pack we got biscuits, some jam, it was butter in fridge, coffee, water, … as we come very late. Oo i forgot, we got fridge magnet from Greece🥰

  The property was very spacious and modern. It was a short walk away from the shops and bars on the main road whilst still being in a quiet area. The property is right near the airport so it only takes 10 minutes in a taxi. You can hear the planes coming in to land but we enjoyed watching them so it was a huge benefit for us.

  The staffs, where just too nice, location was super, most of everything in the apartment was perfect 🥰 Theodore and Anesthesia was just too kind, I and my family will definitely visit again, and we are definitely going to stay with Tsatos luxury, Thanks to our super, super, super hosts, Theodore and Anesthesia. My kids were so comfortable and happy 😊 😃
  
  What could be improved: Just that the bathroom needs a hand rail, and the key needs to be a spare incase a family member is out of the flat. Otherwise everything else is Perfect. 🥰., I have been with booking.com and I have stayed in many of their apartments and hotels, but Tsatos luxury is the best in cleanness, nicest with all amenities and costumer service was super excellent. 👌
