Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Toula’s Apartments – I mean, it’s right on the main road between Rhodes and Lindos, so I figured it might be one of those generic roadside places. But you know what? I was completely wrong. The building sits back just enough from Ethniki Odos that you don’t get hammered by traffic noise, and once you’re up on that first floor, it actually feels pretty peaceful.

What really struck me about this place is how Toula (yeah, she’s a real person, not just a name on a sign) has managed to create something that feels authentically Greek without being touristy. The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious – I had friends staying at some of those cramped hotel rooms in Faliraki center, and they were honestly jealous when they saw my setup. The kitchen actually works, which is more than I can say for a lot of places I’ve stayed. There’s something refreshing about being able to make your morning coffee without having to trek downstairs to some overpriced hotel restaurant. The balconies are decent sized too – not those tiny afterthought balconies you see everywhere, but actual spaces where you can sit with a book or have a proper conversation.

The location is actually pretty genius once you figure it out. Sure, you’re not stumbling distance from Faliraki’s main strip (which, let’s be honest, might be a blessing depending on what you’re after), but you’re perfectly positioned for exploring the island. I could walk to some really nice beaches that the tour groups haven’t discovered yet, and when I wanted to hit Lindos – which everyone says you have to do – it was maybe a 15-minute drive instead of the hour-plus trek from Rhodes town. Plus there’s this little taverna about ten minutes down the road that serves the best moussaka I had on the entire island, and I’m pretty sure most tourists never find it. The parking situation is straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven around Greek islands will tell you is not something to take for granted. I’ve stayed at places where finding a parking spot turned into a daily adventure I didn’t sign up for.

  Pool was nice. There was only few apartmenets, so pool was never crowded and it was peaceful. Owner was super nice and gave good tips where to go and what to see.

  We had a late arrival and the owners were there to meet us. They were very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble.
  Lovely, clean studio that was fully equipped.
  Only a short walk away from all the shop, restaurants, bars and the beach.
  A great outdoor space and pool area.

  Everything about Toula’s Apartments is excellent. The swimming pool area is perfect. Apartments are spacious and well equipped. Also, being located next to the main road is no problem because the sound proofing is excellent. It’s a short walk to the main strip with plenty of choice regarding tavernas, bars, shops etc. The staff are helpful and cheerful. I shall definitely return soon.

  Absolutely loved our 10 nights in toulas…can not recommend enough…the pool is fabulous..the location is perfect to everything…the apartment was spacious and clean 👏👏👏👏..we will definitely be back
