Honestly, when I first pulled up to the Perfect Beach House Villa on that winding road between Lahania and Gennadi, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, the name sounds almost too good to be true, right? But you know what, sometimes places actually live up to their ambitious names. This spot sits in one of those perfect Rhodes locations where you’re far enough from the tourist chaos but close enough to actually get decent taverna food when you don’t feel like cooking.

The villa itself has this laid-back luxury thing going on that really works. It’s not trying to be some flashy resort – instead, it feels like staying at a friend’s incredibly well-appointed beach house, if your friend happens to have excellent taste and unlimited renovation budget. The whole place just breathes quality without being stuffy about it. What really got me was how quiet it is here, especially in the evenings when all you hear are the cicadas and maybe some distant waves. The owners clearly know this stretch of coastline well because the positioning catches those amazing sea breezes that keep everything comfortable even in July heat. And parking? No stress – there’s proper space, which honestly can’t be said for a lot of places along this coast.

The location is actually brilliant if you know the area a bit. You’re basically equidistant from some of Rhodes’ best unspoiled beaches – Gennadi is literally down the road with that long stretch of sand that never gets completely packed, and if you’re willing to drive ten minutes in either direction, you’ll hit some of those smaller coves that still feel like secrets. Lahania village is close enough for evening strolls (their little square is genuinely charming), but you’re not dealing with crowds or noise. The road can get a bit busy during peak summer afternoons with people heading to Prasonisi, but it settles down by evening. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward key-hunting or confusing directions you sometimes get with villa rentals. I mean, with a 9.6 rating, they’re clearly doing something very right, and after spending time there, that score makes complete sense. It’s one of those places where every detail has been thought through by people who actually understand what makes a beach holiday work.

  Amazing holiday property, isolated, with 6 separate rooms on 3 levels, a lot of outdoor seating space (shaded and in the sun), clean and large pool. 30sec walk right to the beach where you’re on your own.
  
  What could be improved: We loved the remoteness of the location, though note you’ll need a car to drive to the nearest village (10min) for restaurants and shopping.

  Quiet location, not busy. Very nice Villa with a great pool and plenty of outside space. There is a nice beach bar (Mojito Bar) a few hundred metres away. The owners are very helpful.
  
  What could be improved: Beaches in the vicinity are all stones. The nearest sandy beach (Glystro Beach) is a 15-20 minutes drive away. Be careful driving, there are some lunatics on the road over there and we were lucky to avoid a crash on a couple of occasions with some drivers overtaking on blind bends or when blind to what was coming in the opposite direction.

  What could be improved: אין מזגן בחללים הציבוריים – מטבח, סלון, פינת אוכל. זה לא נורא כל כך אבל ביולי-אוגוסט זה קריטי. שווה להוסיף מאווררים.

  Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise war alles sehr einfach. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war super freundlich und immer sofort per WhattsApp möglich. Sehr unkompliziert. Vielen Dank Mariangela.
  Das Haus liegt in wunderschöner Alleinlage und hat einen sehr schönen Kiesstrand mit kristallklarem Wasser. Der Pool ist sehr groß und sehr sauber. Das Haus ist super aufgeteilt und hat sehr viele verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten auf allen Seiten und Etagen des Hauses.
  
  What could be improved: Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, da die Holztüren keine Türdichtungen haben. Das ist aber jammern auf hohem Niveau.
