The property itself has this unpretentious, welcoming vibe that I found refreshing after staying at some of the more flashy places around the island.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about where Thalassa Studios is positioned — you’re genuinely in the top-rated area of Faliraki, which becomes obvious pretty quickly once you start exploring. The beach is an easy walk, and I mean the kind of walk where you’re not dragging your feet or checking your phone for the time. What really struck me was how couples seem to gravitate toward this area, and honestly, I can see why. There’s something about the way the streets curve down toward the water, with little tavernas tucked between traditional houses, that just works for romantic getaways. You’ve got that perfect balance where you can slip away for quiet moments but still hit the livelier beach bars when the mood strikes.

The Studios

The accommodations here are what I’d call thoughtfully simple — and that’s actually a compliment. These aren’t trying to be something they’re not, but what they do offer works really well for the kind of stay most people want in Faliraki. The studios give you enough space to spread out without feeling like you’re rattling around in some oversized room. I appreciated the practical touches, like having a proper place to store beach gear and enough surface space for all the little things you accumulate during a Greek island stay. The setup just makes sense for people who plan to spend most of their time exploring rather than holed up indoors.

I mean, if you’ve ever tried to find a decent parking spot in a popular Greek resort town during peak season, you’ll understand why this matters more than it might sound. It’s one of those details that removes a layer of vacation stress you didn’t even realize you were worried about. Being able to grab the car and explore other parts of Rhodes without playing parking roulette when you get back — that’s worth something real.

  What could be improved: Windows and doors should be with fences against mosquitoes; A larger balcony to sit and eat and a larger kitchen and more kitchen utensils are needed.

  Easy basic room with shower and balcony, there is a fridge and stove. Close to the beach and restaurants. There is no reception, they sent us the room number, the key was sticking out of the door.

  Very clean apartment with good mattress and new bathroom. In the kitchen we had the basics we needed, and we had to ask for a few things, but the owners helped us in everything. The owners are very helpful and nice people and also the cleaning lady who cleaned our room every day is one of the loveliest person we met. Very near to the beach and the city centre, but in a quiet street. We were very happy with everything and will come back next year. Thank you.

  It was in an amazing location right across from the beach, great value for money. The room was cleaned each day with new towels and sheets. Close to restaurants and takeaway aswell as the bus into the old town of Rhodes. The bus stop to other locations is close by aswell, just on the main road (F18). Lovely staff
  
  What could be improved: The hallway of the building smelt strongly of smoke often but you couldn’t smell it in the room so wasn’t really an issue.

  The apartment is beautiful and well equipped. It is located just across the street from the beach, but also the bus stop (F21) where you can catch the bus (line 33 and 40) that goes directly to Rhodes town and other northern places (Kalithea Springs).
  
  
  The air conditioning works well and food can be prepared (two hotplates in a small refrigerator). There are various shops and taverns not far from the apartment, but noise was really not a issue. The main road is a 5-10 minute walk away, where you can find the AB Foodmarket with more affordable prices, but also catch buses (Bus stop No. 17) southern places, including Lindos.
  
  
  The host was kind and available. The room can be cleaned and the sheets changed every day except Sundays. Really all recommendations!
  
  What could be improved: Maybe it would be good to put mosquito nets, but this time it could have been solved with an electronic device.
