So I stumbled across Thalassa Luxury Studios while wandering around Lindos last summer, and honestly, I’m kind of glad it’s tucked away where it is – you know, not right in the thick of things where all the day-trippers cluster around the Acropolis. The walk from the main village takes maybe ten minutes (fifteen if you’re hauling luggage in the heat), but that’s actually part of its charm. You get this sense of having your own little slice of the island without being completely cut off from everything.

The studios themselves are pretty much what you’d want from a Greek island getaway – clean white walls, those blue shutters that look great in photos, and surprisingly good air conditioning (trust me, you’ll appreciate this in August). What really got me was the attention to detail though. The owner, Maria, clearly knows what travelers actually need. There’s proper counter space in the kitchenette, the shower has decent water pressure, and – this might sound small but it matters – the WiFi actually works throughout the property. I’ve stayed in plenty of places around the Dodecanese where you’re basically offline the moment you step outside the lobby. The rooms face different directions, so if you’re sensitive to morning light, mention it when booking. I had one overlooking the olive groves on the hillside, which meant peaceful mornings but you miss the sea views that some of the other studios get.

Location-wise, you’re about a twenty-minute walk to St. Paul’s Bay if you take the path that cuts through the old part of town – locals will point you toward it if you ask. The beach there is way less crowded than the main Lindos beach, especially in the early morning or late afternoon. For groceries and essentials, there’s a small market on the road toward Pefkos that’s open until pretty late, which is handy since Greek dinner schedules can throw off your shopping plans. Parking isn’t really an issue here like it is closer to the village center, though the road up can be a bit narrow if you’re not used to driving on Greek islands. The whole place has this relaxed vibe – you’ll hear roosters in the morning (seriously, it’s very traditional Greek countryside), but it’s not chaotic or touristy. I mean, you’re still in Lindos so there’s plenty to do, but Thalassa gives you somewhere quiet to retreat to when you’ve had enough of the crowds and the heat. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying an extra day or two because leaving feels like too much effort, which is exactly what happened to me.

  Great location for beach – roll out and onto the beach in the morning, two mini supermarkets and 5restaurants on your door. Easy walk into town. Apartment nicely stocked with thoughtful bits making the stay easier.
  
  What could be improved: There is a big black cable strung across the view from the roof, you can’t see it from the pictures of the property, but it’s there. Not much they can do about it I think, it wasn’t a deal breaker.

  Good location, beautiful view from terrace with plenty of amenities close by. The terrace was our favourite part, simply stunning! The bed was comfiest bed we’d slept in away from home.

  Location was fantastic for what we needed – right on the beach which our baby was able to enjoy all day long and great seafront restaurants right near us.
  The room was beautifully decorated and was a good size, with a separate bedroom which meant our baby could sleep peacefully.
  We didn’t need to venture into the village but it was close (albeit a steep climb up!) and we could be in the hustle and bustle in about 15mins walk (even with a pushchair).

  Fantastic location just off the beach, balcony overlooking the sea. Really lovely safe beach- great for swimming with other facilities available.
  Accommodation has bright interior with good comfortable facilities. Choice of beach tavernas which were busy generally but quiet before 10.00 and after 5.00. Great for breakfast and early dinner
  Lindos is great to visit- 10 minute walk up a steep hill ( golf buggies around to help with luggage)

  We had a wonderful stay! The studio was absolutely perfect. Clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. It had everything we needed to feel right at home.
  
  The location was ideal, close to the Lindos Beach but still in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. The host was also fantastic, providing clear instructions and quick responses to any questions.
  They truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
  
  I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We can't wait to come back!

  The studio itself was an oasis of comfort and luxury. The spacious balcony overlooking the bay was our favorite spot to enjoy morning coffee and soak in the breathtaking views. The apartment was impeccably equipped with modern amenities, including air conditioning, a washing machine, dishwasher, and fast WiFi – everything we needed for a carefree vacation.
  But what truly made our stay exceptional was the warm hospitality of Tina. She was an absolute delight, always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Her friendly demeanor and helpfulness made us feel right at home.
  We cannot recommend Thalassa Luxury Studios highly enough. It's the ideal place to unwind and create unforgettable memories. We're already planning our return!
