Hotel Description

Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Rhodes Old Town, and honestly? Most of them feel like they’re trying too hard to be something they’re not. But Tête à Tête actually gets it right – it’s tucked away on Amarantou Street, which is one of those narrow cobblestone lanes that tourists usually rush past on their way to the bigger attractions. You know what I mean, the kind of street where you can still hear Greek grandmothers chatting from their balconies in the morning instead of just camera clicks.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a stylish friend’s place than a typical hotel room. The space has this effortless luxury thing going on – beautiful details without being stuffy about it. What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re literally a five-minute walk from Sokratous Street where all the tourist restaurants are. I mean, during the day you’ll hear some foot traffic since the Old Town is, well, busy, but once evening settles in it’s surprisingly peaceful. The owners clearly know what they’re doing because everything just… works. The Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out when you need it most, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, and honestly the little touches – good coffee, decent lighting for reading – show someone actually thought about what travelers need.

Here’s the thing about this location that most people don’t realize until they’re here: you’re perfectly positioned between the tourist stuff and actual Rhodes life. Walk one direction and you’re at the Palace of the Grand Masters in three minutes. Walk the other way and you hit that little square near Plateia Arionos where locals grab their morning coffee – no tour groups, just regular people doing regular things. Parking is typical Old Town nightmare scenario, but there’s a decent spot just outside the walls that’s not too brutal of a walk. I’d definitely come back, and that’s saying something because I’m usually the type who wants to try somewhere new every time. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not perfect (nowhere in the Old Town is, thanks to medieval infrastructure), but it hits all the things that actually matter when you’re trying to experience Rhodes without feeling like you’re living in a postcard.

    the property was clean, modern and tidy! It was very close to everything like the beach, old town and countless of restaurants. I would definitely visit again here

    What could be improved: there’s no clothing closet to put all the clothes, and especially with the bedroom being upstairs, we had to improvise. Or you need to live from the suitcase.

    BRILLIANT location !!!! Few minute walk to everywhere, McDonald’s is so so close as well as the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants around- 1/2 minute walk. Owner was so so nice and has so many facilities for you to use. Property was so clean and had a nice balcony that catches the sun! Would 100% come back here!

    The manager who is exceptionally nice. The place itself is perfectly furnished with taste. The garden and balcony. All you need for a relaxing stay with all attractions around the corner but also quiet.

    For a two star accommodation it was very nice, air conditioning was good the court yard was perfect for relaxing and eating.

    The location was almost perfect apart from the building work going on at the time no fault of the owners, local shops down the road and very nice restaurant's too.

    We are very happy we stayed here, if we could change anything it would be to have breakfast at the hotel more than once because in was nice and good value for money.

    What could be improved: Building work in the morning and afternoon.
    We went out most of the time.
    So not to much of a problem.

    Good location the property was very clean with lots of useful information supplied, the terrace area with table and chairs was good. Walking distance to most good restaurants and bars. Nice to leave luggage for a late check out and use the shower in the adjacent hotel.

    What could be improved: The entrance to the bedroom stairs from the top was challenging and felt unsafe and you needed to be absolutely awake at night (or very sober!) to make a safe descent, the stair bannister needs to be extended into the bedroom. The bathroom sink was in the living area rather than the bathroom.

    The apartment is in the center of Rhodos town. It is very big and spacious, it has a balcony and a terrace. The owner is really nice and kind. There is also air conditioning so it is not hot inside.

    What could be improved: There were a lot of ants on the terrace but not a problem probably something spilled. The check in says its at 8.00 but really is at 13.00 that information was left out but okay.
