Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Tapanis luxury house on Lindos 507, I wasn’t expecting much from the street view. The address doesn’t scream “luxury” at first glance, but man, was I wrong. This place sits right in the heart of Lindos, which means you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the ancient Acropolis (you know, the one that’s been sitting there for over 2,000 years), and honestly? The location alone makes it worth considering.

What actually impressed me was how they’ve managed to capture that authentic Greek island vibe without falling into the trap of being overly touristy. The rooms – well, they’re exactly what you’d want after spending a day climbing around ancient ruins or lounging on St. Paul’s Bay. The owners clearly get that travelers want comfort without the pretense. I mean, the place has a 9.9 rating for a reason, and after staying there, I can see why people keep coming back. The morning light streaming through the windows is something else entirely, especially when you catch glimpses of the whitewashed buildings cascading down toward the sea. There’s this particular spot where you can sit with your coffee and watch the tour boats heading out to the nearby beaches – it’s one of those small moments that makes you remember why you travel in the first place.

Here’s what I really appreciated: parking in Lindos can be an absolute nightmare during peak season (trust me on this), but staying right in the village means you can ditch the car and just walk everywhere. The narrow cobblestone streets can get pretty crowded with day-trippers between 10 AM and 4 PM, but once the tour buses leave, you get this incredible sense of having the place to yourself. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that overly formal hotel reception stuff, just genuine Greek hospitality. And you know what? Sometimes the best recommendations come from the people running the place. They pointed me toward this little taverna tucked away from the main tourist drag where the locals actually eat. The 4-star rating might seem modest, but honestly, I’d rather have authentic comfort than sterile luxury any day. Plus, when you’re spending your days exploring one of the most beautiful villages in the Dodecanese, you want a place that feels like a genuine base, not a resort bubble. Tapanis manages that balance perfectly – comfortable enough to recharge, local enough to feel real, and positioned so you can experience Lindos the way it’s meant to be experienced.

  Absolutely beautiful little house in Lindos, recently renovated so everything is very new and modern. The best part of the house is the stunning terrace with table for dining, 2 loungers, hot tub and the most spectacular view of the Acropolis. We spent most of our time on the terrace. The owner really has thought of everything with all the attention to detail and was very helpful with suggestions on car hire, restaurants and places to visit. It is less than 5 minutes walk into the centre and yet tucked away in a quiet area. We had a fantastic time at Tapanis House in Lindos and would highly recommend it.

  We had the most incredible stay! The property is in the perfect location with breath taking views! The host could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. The fridge was stocked with a lovely welcome pack. Would definitely stay again!

  What a lovely apartment! Perfect size for a couple, comfy bed, clean with everything you need for a great holiday. We spent most of our time in the outside area as it was so beautiful and a great place to relax (the view of the acropolis was brilliant). Would definitely recommend staying here!

  The apartment has an excellent location in Lindos, 2 minute walk from the parking lot and very close to saint pauls bay.Our host Kostas was very accommodating and helpful. The apartment is basically brand new with a very beautiful interior design, it was super clean and everything as far as the amenities go was on point. And if that wasn’t enough the apartment offers a jacuzzi with the best views of Lindos acropolis!! We highly recommend this place and would definitely book it again !!!

  Absolutely brilliant – five stars 🌟
  I would highly recommend this luxury house in Lindos. Brilliant host and lovely place. Absolutely no complaints. Owner kept in contact about cleaning, what to do when leaving which was helpful. Jacuzzi was amazing, you get a beautiful view in the evening. Very comfortable massive bed. Definitely a go-to if you’re a fan of cats, you’ll make many friends. Quick stroll takes you to the heart on Lindos, with many shops and beaches.

  Prachtig recent pand met toplocatie. Jaccuzi en wasmachine waren voor ons een plus alsook de gevulde frigo van de gastheer en alle huishoudelijke toestellen naar wens. Zie je graag katjes dan voel je je hier nog meer thuis. In Lindos zijn ze in overvloed.
