Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Sunny Holidays Apartment on Palaiologou Street – I mean, the name sounds pretty generic, right? But you know what actually surprised me? This place gets the basics so right that you forget you’re staying in what’s technically an apartment complex. The location in Kremasti is one of those hidden gems that locals don’t really talk about because, well, they don’t want it overrun with tourists.

What I love about staying here is that you’re genuinely in a Greek neighborhood, not some sanitized resort bubble. You’ll hear the morning sounds of actual Greek life – kids heading to school, the local bakery firing up (which, by the way, is about a three-minute walk and makes incredible spanakopita), old-timers gathering for coffee at the kafeneio down the street. The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home that they’ve thoughtfully prepared for guests, not a corporate hotel room. The kitchen is properly equipped – I mean really equipped, not just some sad mini-fridge situation. You can actually cook here if you want to save money or just crave something familiar after days of taverna food.

The beach access is honestly what sold me on this area. Kremasti Beach is literally a short stroll away, and it’s one of those beaches that’s popular with locals but somehow stays under the radar for most tourists. The water’s that perfect Aegean blue-green, and because it faces west, the sunsets are absolutely ridiculous – I’m talking about those Instagram-worthy moments that actually look better in person. What’s practical about this spot is the parking situation (which anyone who’s driven around Greek islands knows is crucial) – there’s actually space for your rental car without the stress of circling blocks. The whole Palaiologou area is quiet enough that you’ll sleep well, but you’re still close enough to Rhodes town that a quick drive gets you to all the medieval castle action and nightlife when you want it. I’d definitely come back here, especially during shoulder season when the weather’s still perfect but the crowds thin out.

  Perfect accommodation! Clean and new, so spacious, beautiful bathroom with shower head, aircon in both bedrooms. Everything you needed and more. Would definitely stay again.

  Everything in the apartment is new, clean and made with love. There is an full equipment for the kitchen. The beds are so comfortable and the bathroom is so nice! Our staying was wonderful! The owners were so helpful and kind family! Highly recommend this place!

  Tout était parfait! L'appartement est impeccable, très calme. On s'y sent tellement bien. Il est très bien décoré, à de grands rangements et on y trouve tout ce dont on a besoin. Nous avions loué une voiture et on peut se garer juste devant la porte d'entrée. Les propriétaires sont exceptionnels. Merci pour tout Dora et Dimitris. Nous avons passé une formidable semaine. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. D'ailleurs notre fille de 4 ans n'attend que ça.

  Ήταν όλα υπέροχα! Το διαμέρισμα πεντακάθαρο! Είχε ο,τι χρειαζόταν κι ακόμα περισσότερα! Ευχαριστούμε για τα φρούτα, τα νερά, το ψωμί το τυρί και το ζαμπόν!
  Επίσης είναι ιδανική τοποθεσία, αφού όλες οι παροχές είναι κοντά σου! Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

  Nagyon jó felszereltség. Kifogástalan tisztaság. A szállásadó nagyon kedves és segítőkész. Parkolás az apartman előtt. Minden a környéken van reptér, autó Bérlés, éttermek, boltok. Szuper hely csak ajánlani tudom.
