You know what caught me off guard about SunDaLucky? It’s actually tucked away in this perfect spot right on Afantou Beach where you get all the beachfront perks without the crazy crowds that swarm places like Faliraki. I mean, Afantou is one of those beaches locals actually use – you’ll see Greek families setting up for the day right alongside tourists, which honestly tells you everything you need to know about a place.

The hotel itself sits in the Santalakia area, and while the name might sound a bit quirky (I’m still not sure about the “Lucky” part), there’s nothing random about how well they run this place. Check-in was smooth – no waiting around in some stuffy lobby – and the staff actually seemed to know the area beyond just pointing you toward the nearest taverna. The rooms have that clean, unfussy vibe that lets you focus on why you’re really here: that gorgeous stretch of pebble beach literally steps from your door. And listen, I know some people complain about pebble beaches, but honestly? Your feet get used to it in a day, and the water clarity you get here beats sandy beaches hands down.

What really sold me was how the whole setup just works without trying too hard. You can grab breakfast, wander down to claim a beach spot before it gets busy around 10 AM, then actually disappear for a proper Greek lunch at one of the family-run places nearby – there’s this spot about a 10-minute walk toward the village center where the moussaka is ridiculously good and costs half what you’d pay at resort restaurants. The beach gets this perfect afternoon breeze that kicks in around 3 PM, which is exactly when you want it, and evenings are quiet enough that you can actually hear the waves from your room. Parking is straightforward too, which might sound trivial until you’ve spent 20 minutes circling blocks in Rhodes Town looking for a spot. That 9.5 rating isn’t some inflated marketing thing – it’s what happens when a place consistently nails the basics while sitting in a location that feels both accessible and tucked away. It’s the kind of spot where you end up staying an extra day because, well, why mess with a good thing?

  Amazing house and location. Everything was perfect for our stay and we will definitely return. The sea was about 150 meters away and there is a great restaurant, Camara Seaside Memories, right there (we ate there four times). We had a car, which I would recommend, as it’s a short 10 minute drive to Faliraki in the north and Kolymbia to the south. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing, beautiful place to stay this is it. The host was immediately responsive and we really appreciate the welcome goods; bread, milk, cheese, ham, wine, beer, coffee, water, tea, etc.

  We liked everything at SunDaLucky, to the 5 minute walk to the beach and the pure solice we felt by being away from the hustle and bustle you are normally in with staying at hotels.

  The villa was exceptional. Beautifully decorated and large spaces.
  Well equipped kitchen. Aircon in every room. A smart tv in both bedrooms and lounge area for when you need to get out of the sun.
  The pool was the area in which we spent most of our time. Big enough and the temperature was perfect. Four luxury sun beds and the whole area was peaceful and just what was required.
  A short 5 min walk to the beach too.

  we had a wonderful holiday at SunDaLucky, the villa is wonderfully equipped, there is everything you could need. the hosts were very kind, welcoming and caring. the location of the house is perfect, very close to the beach. the house is beautifully decorated, private swimming pool and beautifully arranged space around the house made us feel great there. we recommend this place and thank You very much for Your hospitality at home and in the Porto Bello restaurant.

  Property is realized in modern style with great design. There are two big bedrooms with a lot of space for clothes. Kitchen is big with bar table and great dining table for 8 person, living room with a sofa. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Living room ad dinning room are equipped with big size windows. All windors in the appartment are equippd with window screen and electric outdoor curtain. There are 3 smart tvs with Netflix account, internet connection inside the house is sufficient. Outdoor space offers pool with aproximate size 9 by 4m with depth around 160cm, there are 4 seats with sun shelter. Entrance to the appartment is through automatic door, parking area is sufficient for 2 big cars.
  Appartment is equipped with a separate loundry room.
  
  What could be improved: Kitchen requires more equipment, poles of sun shelter outdoor requires some grinding, entrance door can´t be opened from outside without a key,

  Alles. Der private Pool natürlich, die liebevolle Einrichtung, der nette Garten. Herzlicher Empfang durch den Vater der Gastgeberin. Alles unkompliziert und freundlich. Nur wenige Schritte zum Meer und doch sehr ruhig.

  Къщата е страхотна. Обзаведена с вкус, просторна и много удобна. Местоположението е супер, на 2 минути от много дълъг плаж с голям избор на свободни или платени зони. Морето е спокойно и кристално чисто. Района е спокоен и в същото време на удобно разстояние от главния град и най-атрактивните локации по крайбрежието. В самата вила не ни липсваше нищо, имаше всички удобства, които ни бяха нужни. Собствениците са страхотни и много мили хора, отзивчиви по всеки един въпрос по който сме ги търсили. Не са ни притеснявали без причина и се чувствахме много спокойни. Благодарим за приятния престой ❤️ Снимките абсолютно отговарят на реалността. Не се колебайте да посетите, ще останете напълно удовлетворени.

  Ubytování je na výborném místě v pěším dosahu pláže. Moře je čisté a pláž klidná. Okolí ubytování není doposud upravené a působí nečistě. Uvnitř je vše v pořádku. Vše je zcela nové a čisté. Internet je funkční. Klimatizace je dostatečná pro celý objekt. Bazén je pěkný. Hostitel je velmi vstřícný a vždy k dispozici.
  
  What could be improved: Bohužel se ubytování potýká s drobnými problémy, které souvisí s tím, že je vše úplně nové. Stává se, že některé vybavení krátkodobě nefunguje. Hostitel však vše řeší ihned, takže veškeré závady jsou ihned odstraňovány.

  Casa bellissima e nuova, proprietari estremamente gentili che ci hanno attesi a casa e guidato passo passo telefonicamente per raggiungere la casa.
  la posizione è a circa 100 metri dalla spiaggia, poco affollata.
  la casa ha una bellissima piscina ad uso esclusivo che viene costantemente pulita.
  i proprietari sono persone molto ospitali, ci hanno atteso e fatto trovare in casa il necessario per preparaci qualcosa da mangiare nel caso non volessimo/potessimo uscire e ci hanno fatto trovare in casa come benvenuto anche alcuni prodotti tipici dell'isola.
  l'arredamento della casa è moderno e nuovo e la cucina è fornita di materiale per cucinare.
  la casa è climatizzata in ogni stanza ed ha a disposizione un lavastoviglie ed una lavatrice.
  possibilità di parcheggio interno per l'auto.

  Отличный дом, гостеприимные хозяева, глубокий бассейн, современный интерьер. У хозяина есть свой огород, угощают своими овощами. Уединенное место, никто не напрягает, приват. Чисто, красиво. Круто короче!
