When I first pulled up to Stella View Studios in Pefki, I’ll be honest — it doesn’t scream from the outside. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you. This three-star property sits quietly in one of Rhodes’ most underrated spots, and after spending a few days here, I totally get why couples keep coming back. The name isn’t just marketing fluff either — those views actually deliver.

Location Magic

Pefki is sort of this perfect middle ground that most tourists completely miss. You’re close enough to Lindos (maybe 10 minutes by car) to hit the famous Acropolis, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with cruise ship crowds every morning. The beach here is honestly one of my favorites on the island — it’s this lovely stretch of sand and pebbles where you can actually find a spot to spread out. I mean, during peak season you’ll still see people, but it never felt overwhelming like some of the beaches closer to Rhodes Town.

The Studios

Each room here is basically a studio setup, which works perfectly if you’re planning to stay more than just a night or two. The kitchenette isn’t huge, but it’s got everything you need — fridge, stovetop, basic cookware. I actually ended up making breakfast most mornings because there’s a little market just down the hill where you can grab fresh bread and local honey. The air conditioning works well (crucial in summer), and most units have these small balconies where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch the sea wake up.

What Really Works

The staff here genuinely seems to care, which isn’t always a given at smaller properties. Maria at the front desk gave me the best restaurant recommendations — places I never would’ve found on my own. There’s parking right on site, which saves you the headache of hunting for spots during busy periods. The whole place feels clean and well-maintained, nothing fancy but everything works as it should. WiFi was solid throughout my stay, and the water pressure in the shower was actually better than some four-star places I’ve stayed at.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t the kind of place where you’ll find a spa or room service, but that’s not really the point. What you get is a comfortable base in a genuinely beautiful part of Rhodes, run by people who know the area inside and out. The value is excellent — you’re paying reasonable rates for a spot that couples consistently rate highly, and I can see why. It’s peaceful without being isolated, comfortable without any pretense. If you’re the type who wants to explore during the day and come back to somewhere quiet and authentic in the evening, Stella View Studios hits that sweet spot perfectly.
