Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Stay Helios? It’s not right in the chaos of central Faliraki – it’s tucked away on Profitou Amos where you can actually hear yourself think, but honestly, you’re still close enough to walk to all the action when you want it. I mean, the main strip with all the bars and restaurants is maybe a 10-minute stroll, which is perfect because you get the best of both worlds. The whole place has this relaxed vibe that I wasn’t expecting from a 4-star in this area – usually they’re either trying too hard to be fancy or they’re basically party hostels with upgraded linens.

What really won me over was how the staff actually seemed to know the island, not just the resort. The guy at reception (I think his name was Dimitris?) gave me these spot-on recommendations for beaches that weren’t packed with tourists – like this little cove about 15 minutes south where the locals go. The rooms are what you’d hope for without any nasty surprises; clean, comfortable beds, and the AC actually works properly, which honestly can’t be said for every place on Rhodes. The balcony views vary depending on where you end up, but even the ones facing inland have these glimpses of the Aegean if you crane your neck a bit. I loved the morning sounds – not traffic or construction, just birds and the distant hum of scooters puttering along the coastal road.

The pool area gets busy around midday (typical), but early morning or late afternoon it’s actually pretty peaceful. There’s something satisfying about having your coffee there around 8 AM when the light hits just right and you can plan out your day without fighting for a lounger. What I appreciated most was that this place attracts a good mix – not just the 20-something party crowd that dominates some Faliraki hotels, but also couples and families who want to be near the action without sleeping in it. The restaurant serves decent Greek food, nothing mind-blowing but solid and way better than the tourist traps down the main drag. Plus, if you’re staying here, you’re perfectly positioned to explore the rest of the island – Lindos is an easy day trip, and you can catch the local bus right from the main road. That 9.1 rating makes sense when you consider it’s doing exactly what a good hotel should do: giving you a comfortable base without the drama, letting you enjoy Rhodes instead of worrying about where you’re sleeping.

  Room with mini kitchen well equipped.It had toster, kettle ,coffee machine,fridge, all necessary appliancesfor cooking.It had private bathroom and small swimming pool . In the bathroom were nice big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel . Swimming pool area with sunbeds, extra towels, table and chairs.
  Always perfectly clean apartment, towels changed every 2 days . Bed was extremely comfortable and pillows as well. Breakfast had some regular things, some greek pastry, great coffee machine , great juices.
  
  What could be improved: Tv is useless , not possible to setup programs or to connect to WiFi. Unfortunately double bed is not double , it's two separate mattresses together on 1 bed which made a hole in the middle but anyway it was comfortable enough.

  Only stayed one night but Nick was a fantastic host. The rook was clean and the breakfast area was very welcoming with some varied choices and fresh cooked meals.

  We had a fantastic stay! The room was a nice size, the staff were incredibly friendly. Perfect quiet place. Walking distance to Anthony bay.

  Helpful and kind staff,great location and well equipped accomodation. We’ve booked the apartmant with the jacuzzi,it has a stylish and modern yet cozy enterior it was perfect to celebrate our anniversary.
  The breakfast is plentiful everyone can find something for their liking wether it would be sweet or salty.There are gluten free options as well,you just need to ask it from the super nice lady who manages the whole breakfast!
  Can’t recommend enough Nick’s beautiful place! Definitely will visit again sometime!:)

  Very nice breakfast with alternating choices every day! Clean, spacious and just 1min away from Faliraki main road. Very friendly manager with lots of tips for Rhodos! Would definitely recommend. Also a great plus are the stray kitties who live permanently on the porch of the hotel and welcome you every time you arrive!

  New and well-organised facility. Very quiet rooms. Nice private pool.
