Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places in Rhodes over the years, but STALèA Luxury Villa in Pefki actually caught me off guard – and I mean that in the best way possible. You know how sometimes you book a place online and cross your fingers it’ll match the photos? Well, this one delivers, honestly. The villa sits right on that winding road between Lindos and Pefki, which sounds like it might be noisy but it’s actually perfect – close enough to both spots without being in the thick of either tourist scene.

The thing that struck me first was how they’ve managed to nail that luxury feel without being stuffy about it. I mean, we’re talking about a 4-star place with a 9.9 rating, so expectations were high, but the staff actually treats you like a person, not a hotel guest number. The villa itself has this gorgeous Mediterranean architecture that feels authentic rather than resort-cookie-cutter, if you know what I mean. The pool area – honestly, this is where you’ll probably spend most of your time – has these incredible views toward the coastline, and in the evening when the light hits just right, it’s pretty spectacular. They’ve got the landscaping down to an art form too, lots of native plants that smell amazing, especially the herbs they grow (I think the kitchen uses them, which is a nice touch).

What really sets this place apart though is the location knowledge the owners have. They’ll tell you about the little beach path that cuts down from near the villa – saves you about a 10-minute walk to the water and most tourists never find it. The beaches around Pefki are honestly some of the better ones on this part of the island, less crowded than Lindos but still with that crystal-clear water Rhodes is famous for. Parking’s never been an issue when I’ve been there, which is actually a big deal if you’re planning to rent a car and explore (which you should, by the way). The villa’s positioned so you can easily hit Lindos for the ancient acropolis in the morning before it gets too hot, then come back for an afternoon by the pool, then maybe drive down to Anthony Quinn Bay for sunset – it’s all totally doable from here. One small thing – if you’re looking for nightlife right outside your door, this isn’t the spot. But if you want luxury, quiet, and easy access to both cultural sites and gorgeous beaches, STALèA really nails it. The attention to detail is what gets me – from the way they stock the kitchen to the quality of the linens. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to extend your stay, which I actually did last time.

  Absolutely fantastic villa. We had a wonderful stay, 7 adults in total and so much space to be together or have privacy if needed. Everything is really high spec and we lived the comfortable sun loungers.
  Really helpful owner/hosts exceptional service and fast responses.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing ! Only recommendation would be to include sun umbrellas on lounger as some of us are light skinned and burn but still like to lie by the pool . ( Shaded area is available by house )

  This is a 5☆ villa, spacious and very comfortable with an amazing pool and outside area which is exceptionally well maintained.
  
  The villa is very well furnished in a contemporary style, the kitchen is very well stocked with 2 coffee machines!
  
  There are lots of towels and toiletries, and a great welcome pack.
  
  The staff are super friendly and always available to help.
  
  What could be improved: The villa is situated right in the centre of Pekos and, whilst this has many advantages, there is some street noise from the traffic during the day, and, at night, live music from the bars and the Crepe House next door, until well after midnight.
  
  Ours was the first rental of the 2024 season, and there was a problem with the hot water, which needed 3 visits to resolve.
  
  The garden and pool area are hosed every day, I don’t feel this is necessary at this time of year.

Close to beach & restaurants .We couldn't have asked for more .Stayed for our wedding night & used for bride bridesmaid's night before .Four very spacious bedrooms all with onsuite bathrooms. 100% we will be back 👌
