You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Spanish Knights Inn when I first walked up to it on Ipparchou street – honestly, the name made me think it might be some cheesy themed place. But this little gem completely surprised me, and I get why it’s pulling those crazy high ratings.

The location is actually perfect if you know Rhodes Town at all. You’re tucked away on a quieter street, which means you’re not dealing with the chaos of the main tourist drags, but you can still walk to everything that matters in about five minutes. I mean, you’re close enough to hear the buzz from Sokratous Street when things get lively at night, but far enough that you’ll actually sleep. The medieval walls are literally right there – I could see them from my room window, and there’s something pretty magical about having coffee on your balcony while looking at 700-year-old fortifications. The staff here really know their stuff too, not just the usual “turn left at the corner” directions, but actual insider knowledge about which tavernas the locals hit up and when the best times are to visit the Palace of the Grand Master without fighting crowds.

What really won me over was how they handle the details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The AC works properly (crucial in summer), the shower has decent pressure, and – this might sound silly – but the WiFi actually reaches the balcony, which is where you’ll want to spend your mornings. The rooms have this sort of traditional Greek island vibe without feeling like a museum, and honestly, everything just works the way it should. I stayed there during peak season in July, and while the Old Town gets absolutely packed during the day, coming back to Spanish Knights felt like retreating to your own little sanctuary. The check-in was smooth, parking nearby isn’t impossible if you know where to look (they’ll point you in the right direction), and the whole place has this relaxed energy that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy being in Rhodes instead of just rushing through a checklist of sights. That 9.9 rating isn’t just people being generous – this place delivers exactly what you want from a Rhodes stay without any of the usual compromises.

  Beautiful cozy apartments with everything you need to feel at home . Every comfort was provided for and we enjoyed sitting on the rooftop patio and enjoying the sun snd shade. Great location in the middle of everything.

  From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with an exceptionally warm welcome. The families hospitality truly set the tone for our entire stay, making us feel right at home amidst the historical beauty of the area. It’s evident that this is a family-run business, as the personal touches and genuine care shone through in every interaction.
  
  Our room was a perfect blend of authenticity and comfort, reflecting the rich heritage of Rhodes while offering all the modern conveniences one could wish for. The décor was thoughtfully curated, creating an inviting and cosy atmosphere.
  
  What stood out the most, however, was the bed—it was incredibly comfortable! The pillows were absolutely amazing, providing the perfect support and softness. We can genuinely say we had the best night's sleep ever, waking up refreshed and ready to explore the enchanting surroundings.
  
  We wholeheartedly recommend the Spanish Knights Inn to anyone visiting Rhodes Old Town. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s a delightful experience filled with warmth, comfort, and a touch of authentic charm.

  I rarely write reviews, but this place truly deserves it. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Spanish Knights Inn. From the moment we arrived, Panos and his lovely family made us feel genuinely welcome and taken care of. The room was spotless and cleaned thoroughly every day, which we really appreciated. The location is perfect – quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk from charming tavernas and the harbour.
  Breakfast was another highlight: fresh, local ingredients served exactly to our preferences. It felt more like staying with friends than at a hotel. We had high expectations based on previous reviews, but the reality still managed to exceed them. It was honestly hard to leave, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

  The apartments are spotless and very tastefully & comfortably renovated. Breakfast was a selection of locally bakery items (which can be changed in advance), as well as fruit, yoghurt & great coffee, served in the beautiful & peaceful courtyard. The family owners are so kind and friendly & were very helpful with arrival / storing luggage on departure day. The location is fantastic as it allows you to explore Old Town and be able to nip back to the property easily. Can’t recommend enough!

  Medieval setting with a modern feel. Absolutely amazing!! We will surely be back. Staff couldn't do enough for us! Super friendly!! Court yard for breakfast is stunning. Rooms are also stunning. Excellent location in old town. Short walk to palace of the grand master. Very clean and everything you would need. Me and my family loved it. Special thank you to the hosts

  We had a wonderful week here. The accommodation was fabulous. Right in the centre of the Medieval Town, but very peaceful.
  The apartments are built around a very pretty courtyard. The materials and colours used in the construction of the building reflected the atmosphere of the Old Town but were also very contemporary and comfortable.
  Breakfast was delivered to our terrace every morning. It was so generous that we often had enough over for lunch.
  There were restaurants and shops within walking distance. The quality of food in the restaurants was very high.
  The couple who ran the Inn were delightful.
  We feel so lucky to have found this place..

  Everything was amazing. The location was great in a quiet area of the old town but close to all the sights. Beautiful courtyard to relax in and eat breakfast. It was warm enough to dine outside in late October. . Rooms were renovated to a very high standard and very well equipped with comfortable beds.

  The hotel located in the historical center of rhodes as a historical building. A family runs the hotel. They have great hospitality. They are so kind and helpful. Bergamot liquer was really nice.
