You know what caught me off guard about Soultana Studios? It’s actually tucked away from the main tourist chaos of Lindos village, which means you get this perfect balance of being close enough to everything but far enough to sleep without dodging drunk British tourists at 2 AM. I mean, don’t get me wrong – I love the energy of Greek islands, but sometimes you just want to collapse after a day of climbing up to the Acropolis without hearing someone’s balcony party.

The studios themselves are honestly what you’d hope for in a 4-star place without any pretentious nonsense. Clean, well-maintained, and – here’s the thing that really matters – the air conditioning actually works properly. You’d be surprised how many places in Rhodes skimp on this, but these guys get it. The kitchenettes are basic but functional (perfect for making coffee and storing those amazing local peaches you’ll inevitably buy too many of at the market), and the balconies have decent views. Some face the village, others look toward the hills dotted with those classic white houses. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s place than some sterile hotel complex.

What I really appreciate is how the owners – they’re local, by the way – actually know their stuff about the area. They’ll tell you to hit the beach early morning before the tour buses arrive, or point you toward that little taverna down the winding path where the lamb is incredible and costs half what you’d pay on the main square. The walk into Lindos proper takes maybe 10 minutes, which is perfect because you can easily pop back for an afternoon nap (trust me, you’ll want one) or grab something from your fridge. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season – honestly, everywhere in Lindos is a parking nightmare in July and August – but they’ve got it sorted better than most places. The 8.4 rating makes total sense to me because it delivers exactly what it promises without trying to be something it’s not. It’s comfortable, the location works brilliantly, and you’re not paying resort prices for the privilege of decent Wi-Fi and a pool that’s actually clean.

  Ideal location, quirky little studio with everything beach towels washing up facilities. Room made up daily. Highly recommend !

  Perfect location, at the silent end of the most beautiful village, close to the most beautiful beach of the island. Incredible panoramic view to the bay from the common terrace. The host is really friendly.
  
  What could be improved: Our room (No. 2) had only one window to a small court. The room is small, suitable only for sleeping.

  There can't be many places in Lindos with a better view than the one from the terrace. The hosts are genuinely lovely people, and kept up great communication with us. The rooms are typical simple Lindian rooms with platform beds.

  The rooms were lovely and the views stunning. Dimitris the host was very kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and he was very accommodating. He rang racist for us, let us use his washing machine (even providing the powder) and gave us honest advice on locak restaurants.
  
  What could be improved: There was nothing that we didn't like but Lindos is a bit hilly and there are quite a few steps to climb to reach the apartrments so anyone with poor mobility may need to take that into consideration.
