I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Sirin Luxury Suites in Haraki, I wasn’t expecting much from a first-floor accommodation. You know how it is with ground-level places, right? Usually means street noise and people walking past your windows. But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible.

The thing about Haraki is that it’s still got that authentic Greek island vibe that hasn’t been completely overtaken by tourist crowds – I mean, sure, it gets busy during peak summer, but there’s something genuinely peaceful about this little coastal spot. Sirin sits right in the heart of it all, and honestly, being on the first floor turned out to be perfect. No dragging luggage up endless stairs (my back appreciated that), and the suite opens right onto this lovely little area where you can actually hear the sea in the evening when things quiet down. The owners clearly know what they’re doing – the space feels way more spacious than you’d expect, with these gorgeous high ceilings and windows that let in amazing light during the day.

What really got me was the attention to detail. The bathroom has this incredible rainfall shower that actually has proper water pressure (you’d be amazed how rare that is in some Greek accommodations), and they’ve got quality linens that don’t feel like sandpaper. The kitchenette is small but functional – perfect for making morning coffee or storing those amazing local cheeses and olives you’ll inevitably buy from the little shops nearby. Speaking of nearby, you’re literally a two-minute walk from some of the best tavernas in the area. There’s this place called Mavros Gatos just down the road that serves incredible fresh fish – the locals eat there, which tells you everything you need to know.

The location is honestly ideal if you want to explore both the beach scene and the more traditional inland villages. Haraki beach is right there when you want to swim in that impossibly blue Aegean water, but you’re also perfectly positioned to drive up to Lindos (about 10 minutes) when you want to see the famous acropolis without staying in the chaos of Lindos town itself. Parking isn’t a nightmare here like it can be in some of the bigger resort areas – there’s actually space to leave your rental car without circling for twenty minutes.

I stayed during shoulder season in May, and it was absolutely perfect. Warm enough for the beach, not so crowded that you feel like you’re fighting for space everywhere. The staff at Sirin were genuinely helpful too – not just polite, but actually knowledgeable about the area. They pointed me toward this incredible hiking trail that leads to some ancient ruins most tourists never see. It’s that kind of local insight that makes a place memorable, you know? The whole experience felt more like staying at a friend’s beautifully appointed guest suite than a typical hotel room. For a 4-star place with a perfect rating, it definitely lives up to the hype without being pretentious about it.

  The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The property was very tastefully done and it felt like it was just renovated… The most important – they had considered everything for a relaxing and comfortable stay (down to minor details like providing small toys to play in the sand for the kids and greeting us with a delicious local wine in the fridge, freezer full of ice etc.). The location is arguably the best in Rhodes with family friendly neighborhood, amazing beach front, delicious local cuisine in 2-3 minutes of walk down the beach and also another amazing wild sand beach close by that you can drive or walk to.

  Heel mooi ruimtelijk huis (groter dan op de foto's leek) aan een rustige baai. Huis had alles wat je kon wensen en meer. Prachtige badkamers, twee wc's en een keuken waarin je alles kon. Op het balkon staat een jacuzzi waarin je de ondergaande zon perfect kon zien en een fijne tuinset. In de buurt zijn verschillende kleine supermarktjes en restaurants. Die laatste sloten eind oktober bijna allemaal, maar dat was volgens verwachting. Locatie ligt perfect tussen twee grotere plaatsen, Lindos en Archangelos, waar wel van alles open bleef. Host reageerde altijd snel en vriendelijk.
