You know what really struck me about Serenity Sea-View Home? It’s one of those places where the name actually matches what you get – and honestly, that’s rarer than it should be. I mean, the sea views are legitimate, not some glimpse of blue if you crane your neck just right from the bathroom window. We’re talking proper, wake-up-and-there’s-the-Aegean views that make you want to grab your coffee and just stand there for a while.

The location on Afandou Beach is actually perfect if you know the area – it’s far enough from the main Rhodes tourist madness but close enough that you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere. Afandou isn’t one of those picture-perfect postcard beaches (that’s Lindos), but it’s got this long stretch of pebbles and sand that locals use, which I actually prefer. Less crowded, more authentic Greek beach experience. The Mesa Vastaos area specifically is quiet – like, genuinely quiet at night, not “hotel quiet” where you still hear scooters until 2 AM. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven around Greek islands will appreciate.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail that feels personal rather than corporate. The rooms have that crisp, clean feel without being sterile – think white linens that actually stay white, decent water pressure (again, if you’ve traveled in Greece, you know this matters), and air conditioning that works properly. The 4-star rating feels honest; it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but everything works the way it should. The kitchen setup is genuinely useful if you want to grab supplies from the local markets – there’s a good one about ten minutes away where you can get proper tomatoes and feta, not the tourist stuff. The terrace spaces are where you’ll spend most of your time though. They’ve positioned them to catch both sunrise and sunset depending on which side you’re on, and there’s enough space to spread out without feeling like you’re on top of other guests. Check-in was smooth – the kind of experience where someone actually seems happy to see you rather than just going through the motions. That 9.8 rating makes sense when you add it all up; it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but it delivers on the things that actually matter when you’re trying to unwind somewhere beautiful.

  The facility was perfect in every way. It was clean, close to the sea and everything was thought out to the finest detail. The host was one of the best and kindest I have ever seen. It was a facility that made our Rhodos experience beautiful.

  Manos è una persona eccezionale. Durante il nostro soggiorno non ci ha fatto mancare niente. La casa era stupenda e studiata in ogni particolare. La posizione poi era perfetta per girare tutta l'isola in quanto equidistante da rodi e da lindos. Credo sia raro incontrare persone così buone e gentili. Non posso che consigliarlo a tutti.

  En unik ferie opplevelse der man bor midt blant oliven trær ,fugle kvitter og sangsikader. Ingen trafikk. Leiligheten var godt utstyrt og moderne. Absolutt veldig fornøyd med gjestfriheten. Kommunikasjonen gjennom Booking.com gikk veldig bra. En veldig hyggelig kar ved navn Stavros, som forøvrig er sønnen til husverten ,sørget for at vi fikk den informasjonen vi trengte . Var det noen praktiske problemer, fikk faren som også bor i villaen med sin kone, straks beskjed fra sønnen. Fantastisk koselig man som gjorde alt for at vi skulle trives. Sier ikke mer om det😊
  Bil er et must. Kort vei til alle de kjente strendene og omlag 25 km til rhodes by.
  Google maps fungerte veldig bra.
