You know what hit me first about Serenity City Apartment? The name actually makes sense – and I mean that as a compliment because half these places have names that sound like they were picked by throwing darts at a tourism brochure. But walking up Stefánou Kazούlη Street (honestly, just call it Kazoulis Street like the locals do), there’s this genuine quiet that settles over you even though you’re right in Rhodes Town.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it. You’re about a seven-minute walk from the Medieval City walls – I timed it because I’m weird like that – but far enough away that you don’t get the cruise ship crowds stumbling past your window at all hours. The street itself has this lovely residential feel with actual Greek families living their daily lives, which I found way more charming than being stuck in some tourist bubble. There’s a small kafeneio (traditional coffee house) just two blocks down where the old guys play backgammon every afternoon, and the woman who runs the little grocery store on the corner will remember your face after the second visit.

What really impressed me was how thoughtfully everything was set up inside. The apartment – because it really does feel more like staying in someone’s well-appointed home than a hotel room – has these little touches that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The kitchen isn’t just for show (I made Greek coffee there every morning), the Wi-Fi actually works consistently, and there are enough electrical outlets that you don’t have to choose between charging your phone and using the hair dryer. The air conditioning runs quietly too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to sleep after a long day wandering around the old town in July heat. I also appreciated that the windows have proper blackout curtains – again, something you don’t think about until you’re dealing with that bright Mediterranean sun at 5:30 AM.

The walk to most places you’ll want to see is totally manageable, though I’d recommend comfortable shoes because Rhodes Town isn’t exactly flat. You can reach the Palace of the Grand Master in about ten minutes, and if you’re heading to the harbor for day trips to other islands, it’s maybe a fifteen-minute stroll. Parking can be a bit tricky in this part of town if you’re renting a car, but honestly, you probably won’t need one much once you’re settled in – everything’s walkable, and there are decent bus connections if you want to explore the rest of the island. The only minor thing I’d mention is that Greek plumbing still requires you to throw toilet paper in the bin rather than flushing it, but that’s pretty standard throughout the country, not specific to this place.

  Apartman je prostran(nas je bilo 4),sve novo,udobni kreveti,cist,velike terase,kuhinja opremljena(aparat za kafu,toster,ketler,od posudja sve sto je neophodno) .Domacini su ostavili kafu,vino,vodu da imamo dok se snadjemo.Sve sto je potrebno za higijenu i odrazavnje cistog prostora.Dovoljan broj peskira za menjanje ,a ima i masina za pranje i susenje vesa ,cak su domacini ostavili prasak i omeksivac tako da sve je olaksano 😊.Na dobroj lokaciji,blizu starog grada ,autobuske stanice,u blizini je pekara,supermarket,apoteka u zgradi..

  Παρά πολύ καθαρό διαμέρισμα παρέχει τα πάντα.
  Δεν χρειάζεται αυτοκίνητο για να κινηθείς στο κέντρο της Ρόδου και στην παλιά πόλη.
  Πολύ φιλικοί ιδιοκτήτες και εξυπηρετικοί.

  Uno dei residence più puliti e con più servizi che ho prenotato. Veramente vicino alla città vecchia he raggiungevamo a piedi in 10 minuti. Posto auto disponibile e gratuito nelle vie adiacenti. Il padrone di casa è stato gentilissimo e accogliente fin da subito, all'interno dell'appartamento c'era ogni genere di servizio, la cucina completissima e di ottima qualità ci ha permesso di prenderci qualche pausa dai ristoranti. Veramente una sistemazione ottimale che mi sento di suggerire a tutti.

  Un appartement très confortable, chambres, terrasses, équipement, tout est fait pour passer un bon séjour à Rhodes. De plus, il est située à proximité de la vieille ville. Une très bonne communication avec l'hôte qui est prêt à aider en cas de besoin.
