Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Sea Breeze Villa? It’s tucked away in Charaki – not the main Haraki strip where all the tour buses dump everyone – but actually down this quieter road where you can still hear the waves properly. I mean, the name isn’t just marketing fluff here; you genuinely get that constant ocean breeze that makes even the hottest July afternoons bearable.

The whole place feels like someone’s well-loved family property that they decided to share (which honestly might be exactly what it is). The rooms are what I’d call “thoughtfully simple” – not trying to be some fancy resort, but everything works perfectly and there’s this attention to detail that surprised me. Like, the shower pressure is actually decent, the AC doesn’t sound like a dying helicopter, and they’ve got these little touches like proper hangers and enough outlets for your devices. The balconies though – that’s where they really got it right. Most of them look straight out over the water, and in the evenings you can watch the fishing boats heading out while you’re having your wine.

What really sells this place is the location situation. Charaki beach is literally right there – like, flip-flops-and-you’re-on-the-sand close – and it’s this perfect mix of developed enough (there’s a few good tavernas) but not overdone. The main Haraki area with more restaurants and the little market is maybe a ten-minute walk along the coast path, which is actually prettier than taking the road. And here’s something most people don’t realize until they get there: you’re positioned perfectly for day trips to Lindos (about 20 minutes) without having to deal with staying right in the tourist chaos. The couple running the place – they’re locals and will point you toward the good stuff, like which taverna has the freshest fish or when the best hiking weather is.

Honestly, with that 9.7 rating, I was expecting maybe some inflated reviews, but after staying there I get it. It’s not trying to be everything to everyone, but what it does – comfortable base, great location, genuine hospitality – it does really well. The only thing I’d mention is that if you’re looking for resort-style amenities or nightlife right on your doorstep, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want to actually experience this part of Rhodes without feeling like you’re in a tourist bubble, and you appreciate places where the details are handled properly, then yeah, Sea Breeze Villa makes a lot of sense.

  We had a wonderful stay at Sea Breeze Villa in Charaki.
  The host Maria is very lovely, forthcoming and helps with all questions you may have.
  The villa is really amazing. It has two bedrooms, great air conditioning, and a big ground level and roof-top terrace. It is located only a two minutes walk from the local beach, which is not too crowded.
  We can only recommend to everyone!

  Friendly and flexible welcoming, our plane has arrived in the late evening, and the host were waiting for us with fruits, mineral water and a bottle of wine.
  
  The villa is nice and in a very good location, 3-5 minutes by walking from Haraki main beaches, restaurants, mini markets, but far enough from the noisy area. It's very good with children as you are a bit separated.
  Heraki could be a good choice if you have a car and willing to go arround the island as everything is easly avalilable (in the middle of the island so half distance from every main spots, butterfly valley, seven springs, Rhodos town, water park).
  One of the most known sandy beach is just 2-3Km from the accomodation.
  
  Our host was even surprised us with good bye gifts which was very kind, and also let us stay a bit later then normal check out time (due that she knows our plane was going late evening).
  
  It was cool that the air condition was so cool 🙂
  For me it's always an extra plus point if the toilet lid automatically closing 🙂

  What could be improved: The apartment is located in a bit isolated area of haraki and the building is still under construction so that to go out at night you need to take the car and leave it in an area with lights

  Maria and Giannis are very friendly hosts and support you whenever required. The accomodation is strongly recommended for a family with two children due to two separate bedrooms.

  good location in haraki, close to the agathi beach;
  a lot of space in rooms and living ( which is important if u have kids); kitchen is ready to prepare a quick breakfast, coffee etc.
  We were surprized with gifts before leaving!
  
  What could be improved: the access to the villa without a car is a bit difficult, lack of beach towels (nowadays is a bit annoying to carry beach towels with you when you come by plane).

  Beautiful house. With beautiful outdoor spaces (two terraces and one balcony). Magnificent view of the sea and Feraklos Castle from the upper terrace. The hosts were very nice. And very helpful with everything.

  The property was located in a quiet location a few minutes walk from Haraki village and close to a quiet beach front. Accommodation was a pleasure to stay in with a full kitchen, 2 walk in shower units as well as excellent courtyard and roof terrace, as well as a balcony from the bedrooms.
  We enjoyed the BBQ facilities and the very comfortable loungers.
  The bedrooms had ample storage and the all important air conditioning.
  Hosts were kind enough to leave water, fruit and wine for our arrival and also sent us home with gifts.
  Will definitely stay again.
