You know what caught me off guard about S-EVA Resort? It’s this perfectly positioned spot right on Afantou Beach where you get that authentic Greek island vibe without the tourist circus you’ll find in Rhodes town. I mean, when you’re sitting on their terrace with a cold Mythos, watching the waves roll in while the locals are still setting up their beach chairs at dawn – that’s when you realize this place gets it right.

The resort sits in this sweet spot between Afantou village and Kolimbia, which honestly works in your favor because you’re close enough to walk into the village for those little family tavernas (try Dimitris’ place if you want the real souvlaki), but far enough from the main Rhodes chaos that you actually sleep at night. The beach here is mostly pebbles mixed with sand – not the postcard perfect stuff, but it’s clean and the water’s crystal clear. Plus, the windsurfers love this stretch, so there’s always something interesting to watch if you’re into that sort of thing. Parking’s actually easy here too, which anyone who’s driven around Greek islands will tell you is worth its weight in gold.

What really sold me on S-EVA was how the staff seemed to anticipate what you needed before you asked. The front desk guy, Kostas I think, remembered my name after one conversation and would update me on weather changes for my day trips. The rooms are modern without being sterile – they’ve got that Mediterranean warmth with the white walls and blue accents, but the air conditioning actually works (trust me, you’ll need it in July), and the beds are comfortable enough that you won’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with a Greek god all night. The pool area gets busy around 2 PM when families come back from the beach, but early morning and evening it’s practically yours. I’d usually grab coffee around 7 AM and have the whole place to myself – just the sound of waves and maybe a fishing boat putting out to sea. The 9.6 rating makes sense when you add up all these little details that show someone’s paying attention to what travelers actually care about.

  Modern, beautiful and comfortable house. Everything is resolved and arranged for the benefit of the guests. Communication with the hostess is very professional and simple.
  Clean, bright and tasteful. Spacious yard with relaxation and spa area, great sea view.
  
  What could be improved: The navigation took us to the fields, where we met other vacationers who were stuck and looking for the same address. Therefore, it is worth looking at the map before driving. Later arrival was no longer a problem.

  Very clean and comfortable house, perfect for families. Kitchen was well equipped, you can find anything you need and even more😉. Host is very helpful and nice, pleasant gifts. Sea beach is very close and private.

  Very well equipped, modern with a beautiful sea view from the balcony. We got every help we needed from Eva, although reaching the house is not that easy by car. I would choose it again.

  Die Lage ist schön ruhig und trotzdem direkt am Strand.

  What could be improved: Das einzige was man bemängeln könnte ist der Weg zur Unterkunft, die Straße ist halt eine Schotterstraße, aber das hat wenig mit der Unterkunft zu tun.

  Dom w super lokalizacji, praktycznie przy samym morzu. Wyposażony we wszystko co potrzebne do mieszkania – od w pełni wyposażonej kuchni z dwoma ekspresami do kawy po akcesoria plażowe. Jedyne co warto to mieć samochód ponieważ dom zlokalizowany jest trochę na uboczu. Bardzo dobry kontakt z Właścicielką:)
