You know what caught me off guard about Royal Luxury Studios? The name actually lives up to itself – and honestly, that’s rare these days. I mean, when you pull up to this place on Stegna Beach in Archangelos, you’re not expecting much from the outside (it’s pretty understated), but then you walk into your studio and suddenly you get why this place has a 9.8 rating.

The location is what really makes it work, though. Stegna Beach isn’t one of those crazy crowded Rhodes beaches that everyone talks about – it’s actually this gorgeous stretch of sand that locals prefer, which means you get that perfect mix of having everything you need without feeling like you’re in a tourist trap. The studios are literally a two-minute walk from the water, and I’m talking about clear, swimmable water here, not some rocky coastline where you can’t actually get in. What’s brilliant is that you’re close enough to Archangelos village (maybe a 10-minute drive) to grab dinner at those family-run tavernas that don’t have English menus but serve the best moussaka you’ll ever taste, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with any noise or chaos. The parking situation is actually hassle-free too – there’s space right there, which anyone who’s driven around Greek islands knows is basically a miracle.

The studios themselves are where they really nail it. Everything feels thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together – like, the kitchenette actually has decent counter space and proper cooking equipment, not those tiny burners that barely work. The beds are comfortable (I’m picky about this), and they’ve got this smart setup where the living area doesn’t feel cramped even though it’s a studio layout. Air conditioning works perfectly, which honestly saved my life during that heat wave in July. The bathrooms are modern and well-maintained, and here’s a detail that matters – the water pressure is excellent and the hot water is reliable. You’d be surprised how many places mess this up. The cleaning staff clearly takes pride in their work too; everything was spotless when we arrived and stayed that way throughout our stay. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night – the soundproofing between units is solid, and even with families around, we never had any noise issues. Check-in was smooth, the staff speaks great English, and they actually know the area well enough to give you proper recommendations, not just the tourist stuff. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between having your own space and being right on a beautiful beach without the crowds, this place gets it right.

  Very nice, clean modern apartment with everything you need and the large terrace is amazing.
  Maria was very helpful and cleaned thoroughly twice a week.
  Lots of good restaurants within a short walking distance, but renting a car is probably a good idea if you want to explore more of the island. There's plenty of parking space right next to the apartments.

  Nice, well equiped, comfortable, very clean apartment and great balcony with view and super sunrise.Maria was very nice, she cleaned up the apartment in every third day, changed the bedlinen and towels. We rented a motorbike and Stegna is an excellent starting point for everything, we literally went all over the island during our stay. The beach was quiet with crystal clear water.

  Property is lovely and clean, waking up to a view over the ocean from the bed was fantastic. The Hot Tub on the balcony made this holiday so relaxing and the town of Stegna is really lovely and perfect for a quiet break. Maria the host was so helpful and accommodating, helping us with reservations throughout our stay. She gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat (Maria’s Taverna in town has fantastic Greek food and was a great recommendation from Maria). Fantastic stay and a really helpful host.

  Very nice apartment with a great sea view. Good location, many restaurants and a great beach nearby. The hosts admitted us to the apartment earlier than they are supposed to and also saw us off on the day of departure. Thanks Maria!

  Everything was perfect. Kitchen and other equipment – things you would need but don’t think they could be provided as you even don’t have such at home, however the owners have thought about every single detail – stove, oven, sandwich maker, iron, wifi, beautiful terrace, jacuzzi, A/C, even an umbrella which you can take to the beach and much more. The heart of the nicest town in Rhodes – Stegna – 5 mins away. Maria is helpful and is available whenever you need to ask anything. Definitely worht coming back!
