So I stumbled upon Rodosrooms during my third trip to Rhodes, and honestly, I wish I’d found this place years ago. It’s tucked away on Nikiforou Mandilara street – you know that narrow cobblestone stretch that most tourists rush past on their way to the main shopping area? Well, turns out that’s exactly where you want to be staying.

The thing about this spot is that it’s got this perfect balance going on. You’re literally a two-minute walk from all the medieval town chaos – the Palace of the Grand Masters, those tourist-packed tavernas, the whole Knights of Rhodes tourist trail – but when you duck into Rodosrooms, it’s like stepping into this quiet pocket where actual people live. I mean, there’s this tiny kafeneio right around the corner where the old Greek guys play backgammon every afternoon, and honestly, that’s worth more than any hotel amenity to me. The building itself has that restored traditional vibe without feeling like they tried too hard, if that makes sense. Clean lines, local stone, but your air conditioning actually works (crucial in July, trust me). What really got me was the attention to detail – not in some fancy boutique hotel way, but in practical ways that show someone actually thinks about what travelers need. The shower pressure is solid, there’s enough outlets for all your devices, and the windows have proper blackout capabilities for those post-beach afternoon naps.

The staff here – well, they’re not putting on some rehearsed hospitality show. Maria at the front desk actually lives in the old town and gave me the real scoop on which restaurants to hit and which tourist traps to avoid (protip: skip the places with the aggressive guys trying to pull you in from the street). Location-wise, you’re close enough to walk to Mandraki Harbor when you want to see the deer statues and the windmills, but you’re also positioned perfectly for exploring the quieter residential streets where the locals actually shop and eat. Parking can be tricky in this part of town – I mean, we’re talking medieval streets here – but they’ll sort you out with directions to the nearest spots, and honestly, once you’re settled, you won’t want to drive anyway. The whole old town becomes your neighborhood. I’ve stayed at some of the bigger resort places outside the walls, and sure, they’ve got pools and room service, but there’s something about falling asleep to the sound of fountain water echoing off ancient stone walls that you just can’t replicate. Rodosrooms gets that 8.8 rating because it delivers on what actually matters when you’re exploring a place like Rhodes – comfort, location, and that local connection that makes you feel like you’re experiencing the real deal, not some sanitized vacation version.

  This accommodation is located in the most beautiful street in Rhodes, everything is close to you, it is very clean and tidy.

  The location is perfect. You’re right in the city center and just off a street with great restaurants. It’s very easy and quick to get anywhere from there.

  Cleaner came in every morning after we left to refresh the room! Location was perfect, surrounded by many lovely restaurants without being noisy, and 10min walk from the beaches. They provided fresh towels whenever we asked and also beach towels which was super helpful! They also offered luggage storage on our last day which was so kind. Highly recommend, incredibly value.

  Staff was amazing and helped us about everything whenever we needed. The location was perfect, close to everywhere, walking distance to the old town. Room was a great size and spotless clean. If we go to Rhodes again we will definetly stay there.

  Amazing place, very central location, close to the beach. Spent a week here with my friend. We chose room with jacuzzi which was our best decision. Room was clean, large, with very comfortable bad. Jacuzzi experience was exceptional! Staff was very friendly and helpful, they drop us from/to airport, helped with our luggage. Also they were in touch during the whole our stay and responded quite quickly to our messages when we needed help. If I ever travel to Rhodes again, will only stay here. Thank you guys!
