Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to the Rodos Princess Beach Hotel on Kiotari’s main drag – you know how some beachfront places can look a bit tired from the outside. But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The moment you walk through those doors, there’s this immediate sense that someone really cares about the details here. The lobby has that perfect balance of Greek charm without being kitschy, and the staff genuinely seems happy to see you (not always a given at resort hotels, let’s be real).

What really sold me on this place was discovering just how perfectly positioned it is in Kiotari. I mean, you’re literally steps from one of the quieter stretches of beach on this part of Rhodes – none of that crowded chaos you get closer to the main tourist strips. The sand here is that soft, pale kind that doesn’t burn your feet at noon, and the water stays pretty calm most days thanks to how the bay curves. Mornings are absolutely magical; I’d grab coffee from the hotel and just sit watching the fishing boats head out while the village was still waking up. The rooms themselves are solid – nothing fancy, but they’re clean, the AC actually works (crucial in July), and most have these little balconies where you can hear the waves at night. I will say the Wi-Fi can be spotty on the upper floors, but honestly, that might be a blessing in disguise.

Here’s what I really appreciate about staying here – you get that authentic Greek island experience without sacrificing comfort. The hotel restaurant does this incredible fresh fish that they source right from the local boats (ask for whatever came in that morning), and they’re not trying to charge you resort prices for everything. Walk five minutes down the beach road and you’ll find Maria’s taverna – locals actually eat there, which tells you everything. The hotel pool area gets busy around 2 PM when families come back from beach time, but early evening it’s perfect for a swim while watching the sunset paint the hills behind the village. Check-in was smooth, parking is free and actually adequate (rare for beachfront properties), and they helped arrange a car rental without any of that pushy timeshare nonsense. With an 8.9 rating, you know you’re getting quality, but what makes this place special is how it feels like a genuine piece of Kiotari rather than some isolated resort bubble.

  The hotel truly feels like a big family, with the friendliness and kindness of the staff coming naturally from everyone. The atmosphere is just amazing! We traveled with a small baby, and it was incredibly comfortable. The hotel is very child-friendly, and the rooms are spacious, quiet, clean, and modern. We were even upgraded to a sea view with two adjoining rooms, which made our stay even more comfortable!
  
  The restaurant offers a wide variety of tasty food, and it really feels like home-cooked meals. Plus, throughout the day, you can enjoy snacks by the pool, freshly made crepes, gyros, and even a late dinner. One thing that stood out is that the restaurant is always well-stocked, even towards the end of meal times, which is rare!
  
  The hotel has its own private beach down a cliff, with a restaurant and bar right there. The lagoon and the water are just stunning. We had a fantastic time and will definitely come back!

  Very friendly and helpful staff, very good food. Everything what you need for lazy days 😀 Best 4 stars hotel in Greece which we had chosen in 5years period. If small improvements will be made with water (strange taste) and some corners renovation , it could be a 5 star hotel.

  This hotel was amazing, incredibly beautiful, modern and well-equipped with amazing food and alltogether with 4 restaurants. The staff was really kind, helpful and friendly, we were amazed and will go back for sure.

  The animation team pink wavers are the best! The cute gifts from hotel when we leave the hotel. The beach is clean, there is snack bar and drink bar. Very kind personal.

  Excellent food in all restaurants (the main restaurant as well as theme restaurants, i.e. Greek, Asian). We got room upgrade, so the room was very spacious and with the sea view. There were a lot of activities for kids (water slides, volley, minigolf, etc.) so it was great. The beach was at a little walk from the hotel, but it was not really a problem.
  
  What could be improved: The sunbeds on the beach were really packed. The animation team and mini club for kids is all in Italian, so se non parli italiano – scusa. The pools at the end of the day were a bit dirty.
