You know what struck me first about Rodos Park? It’s tucked away on this narrow street – Riga Fereou – that most tourists probably walk right past, but honestly, that’s part of its charm. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute stroll from all the medieval madness of the Old Town, but when you duck into the hotel’s entrance, it feels like you’ve found this secret oasis that the cruise ship crowds haven’t discovered yet.

The thing about Rhodes Town is that finding genuine five-star quality can be tricky – there’s a lot of places trading on the island’s reputation without really delivering. But Rodos Park actually earns that rating, and I say this as someone who’s stayed in way too many Greek hotels that promise the world and give you threadbare towels. The rooms have this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “look how fancy we are,” which I appreciate. Actually, what I loved most was how quiet it gets at night – and if you’ve ever tried to sleep near Sokratous Street during high season, you’ll know that’s no small feat. The soundproofing is legit, or maybe it’s just that perfect location slightly off the main drag.

Here’s what really sold me on the place: the staff actually know the island. I asked about getting to Lindos early to beat the crowds, and instead of giving me some generic “take the bus” response, the concierge told me exactly which morning ferry to catch and mentioned this little taverna near the acropolis that doesn’t show up in guidebooks. That kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to experience Rhodes beyond the typical tourist checklist. The breakfast spread is solid too – not those sad continental buffets you sometimes get, but proper Greek yogurt, local honey, and they make a mean freddo cappuccino if you ask nicely. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of town (honestly, it’s like that everywhere in the Old Town area), but they sort it out for you, which removes one major headache from the equation. With an 8.9 rating, I’d say that’s pretty spot-on – it’s the kind of place that gets the big things right and sweats the small details that actually matter when you’re trying to enjoy your vacation instead of dealing with hotel drama.

  Stunning hotel in excellent location near Rhodes Old Town. This was our 3rd stay. Exceptional staff, so helpful and charming.
  Very comfortable, newly decorated bedroom. Lovely quiet balcony. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful interiors, lovely pool.

  The hotel was clean, tidy and a short walk away from shops and restaurants. The beds were comfy and the rooms are a good size. There is a good selection of food for breakfast with pastries, fruit, hot food. A good sized swimming pool with plenty of sun beds and a bar serving drinks and food.
  All of the staff were fantastic – friendly and helpful!
  The beautiful and busy ancient walled Rhodes town is less than 10 minute walk away, full of shops and restaurants, bustling nightlife.
  Also, there is a cocktail bar on top of the hotel!

  Fantastic location on the edge of the old town. Staff all really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Pool area fabulous. Roof top bar/restaurant wonderful. Breakfasts exceptional. Room very comfortable, clean and well equipped.

  The hotel overall has a warm relaxing family feel , the staff can not do enough for you
  From the reception to the lifeguard (George) who is a real character,

  Room was lovely, air conditioned, large, comfortable, king size bed, views to the archaeological site behind the hotel. Large walk-in shower, ample toiletries, basin and adjoining toilet. Room was serviced daily, clean towels, beds made, linen changed. Fridge/Mini bar, we used it to keep our water cool.
  Buffet breakfast was incredible. Cereals, fresh fruits, yoghurts, bread, cheeses, cold meats, as well as a full selection of hot choices.
  Staff extremely welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, any small issues were handled promptly. Mr Vangelis (manager) would welcome us each morning with a smile and handshake.
  Hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the Old Town, easy access to the Bus Station and Port.
  
  What could be improved: This is a city centre hotel, surrounded by trees, with a swimming pool…so sunbathing space will always be restricted because of the travel of the sun. We did manage to grab a couple of sunbeds on our last day, my partner enjoyed the shade and I 'bed hopped' to be in direct sun at times. Pool is very clean, satisfyingly refreshing, lifeguard on duty, plenty of towels and refreshment service available.

  Beautiful high quality hotel – a quiet little oasis very near the old town and the new town (walkable to both) – fabulous breakfast and outside tables overlooking the pool in the sunshine if you want
  
  What could be improved: Usual problem you get with hotels of this type, never enough sunbeds around the pool … ok if you get up and bag one by 9am, but if you want a lie in then you might struggle … other than that, nothing, all good
