So here’s the thing about Rhodos Horizon City – it’s one of those places that actually gets the whole “adults only” concept right, you know? I mean, it’s not trying to be some stuffy resort where you whisper in the lobby. The vibe is more like… relaxed sophistication, if that makes sense. When you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that you can actually unwind without worrying about someone’s kid cannonballing into the pool at 7 AM.

The location on Amerikis Street is honestly pretty perfect – you’re right in the heart of Rhodes Town but not stuck in the absolute chaos of the main tourist drag. It’s maybe a five-minute walk to the Medieval City (which, trust me, you’ll want to explore at least twice because you’ll miss half the cool details your first time through), and the Old Town’s walls are literally visible from some of the upper floor rooms. What I really appreciated was how easy it was to slip out for an evening stroll along the harbor – you know that gorgeous stretch where all the windmills line up? Yeah, that’s basically your backyard here. The staff actually knows the area too, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that is. They steered me toward this little taverna tucked behind Sokratous Street that I never would’ve found otherwise.

The rooms themselves have this clean, modern thing going on without feeling sterile. Good blackout curtains – and I’m mentioning this because Greek summers mean the sun’s blazing by 6 AM and you’ll want those extra hours of sleep after exploring the island all day. The air conditioning actually works (again, summer in Rhodes, this matters), and honestly, the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with a brick. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of town, but the hotel has arrangements that make it way less stressful than trying to navigate those narrow medieval streets on your own. The whole area gets pretty lively in the evenings – not rowdy, just that pleasant Mediterranean buzz of people enjoying themselves – but the rooms stay surprisingly quiet. I’m guessing they invested in decent windows, because Rhodes Town definitely doesn’t sleep early, especially during summer months. What really sold me on the place was how it felt like a proper base for exploring rather than one of those resorts that tries to keep you trapped inside. You’re here to see Rhodes, right? This spot actually helps you do that.

  Location was Brilliant!
  Really near to Old Town, Mandraki Harbour & Elli Beach. All Perfect!
  Staff were Soo Brilliant. Professional, friendly, appropriate and really wanting to make your holiday better.
  Food was excellent, we only had breakfast But multiple choices.
  Bar brill… surprising low/competitive prices for a Hotel. We were totally surprised re Bar prices. Definitely worth having late night/pre dinner drink!
  Rooms great. We had a problem with safe But staff sorted out really quickly.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing…My sister complained No baked beans for breakfast at one point with her bacon & eggs BUT chef appeared very quickly with some! We all laughed and i was really appreciative of his response so i didnt have to listen to her moan!!

  Excellent hotel, above all our expectations! We had a room on top floor with views to the port. Surrounded by mini markets and ATMs for convenience; amid a very nice shopping area. Would definitely recommend snd return!!!!

  Large comfortable room. Very comfy bed. Staff all exceptionally polite, helpful and friendly.
  The breakfast is next level !! There isn’t anything you could want that wasn’t provided.
  We had a late flight and they let you stay and use the pool and provide towels and showers.

  Amazing hotel, super clean, they changed the towels every day and clean the floor. Everything was shining and new. The staff was absolutely amazing, thanks to the beautiful reception girl we will come again

  Hotel is a brand new property. Our room was very spacious with all the amenities needed and a big balcony.
  The hotel is very close to the beach and all the restaurants.
  The staff were really welcoming and accommodating. I specifically want to thank to the amazing woman working on the reception.
  
  What could be improved: Breakfast was a bit chaotic and there should be a barrista to make a ground coffee. The one from the machines was a low quality and doesn’t correspond to this hotel.
  The windows aren’t soundproof so I would reconsider taking a pool view room. It was quite hard to sleep.

  Clean rooms with all the facilities we needed to prepare for our upcoming flight. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and a mini-mart across the road. The breakfast offering was plentiful with great variety. Reception staff were polite and helpful.
