Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of hotels in Rhodes Town, and honestly? Rhodes Views is one of those places that just gets it right. When you first walk up to Skeou Zervou street – which, by the way, most tourists completely miss because they’re all clustered around the main Old Town entrances – you’ll notice how quiet it gets. I mean, you’re still close enough to hear the occasional motorbike puttering by, but it’s worlds away from the chaos near Mandraki Harbor.

The thing about this place is that it actually lives up to its name. From most rooms (well, definitely the ones facing the right direction), you get these sweeping views over the medieval walls and out toward the Aegean. I stayed there in late September when the light gets all golden in the evenings, and honestly, I spent way too much time just standing on my balcony with a glass of wine watching the sun set behind the minarets. The staff – and this is where you really notice the 4-star difference – they remember your name after day one. The guy at reception, Dimitris I think, actually gave me directions to this tiny taverna that wasn’t in any guidebook but served the best lamb I had on the entire island.

What really sold me on the place though was the attention to details that most hotels completely overlook. The shower actually has proper water pressure (you’d be amazed how rare that is in older Greek buildings), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, and – this might sound silly – but the WiFi works everywhere, even out on the terrace. I was there during peak season in August, and while the Old Town was absolutely packed with cruise ship crowds during the day, Skeou Zervou stays residential and calm. You can actually walk to Socratous Street in about eight minutes, but when you want to escape the madness, you’re tucked away in this peaceful corner where locals still hang their laundry from windows and old men play backgammon at the corner kafeneio. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re renting a car – there’s not much right outside, but there’s a public lot about a five-minute walk away that most visitors don’t know about. The breakfast spread is surprisingly good too, with actual local honey and proper Greek yogurt, not the generic stuff you get at the big chain hotels. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying in Rhodes, not just visiting it, if that makes sense.

  The property was amazing and quite large with an upstairs bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen was fully serviced which was great for cooking meals / snacks. The facilities were very modern and the balcony views of the marina / port were amazing. Washing machine was a plus. The communication was fantastic and easy. The neighbours were very friendly with the benefit of an exceptional bathers shop across the street and an incredible tasting “souvla” bbq restaurant 5 mins away. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

  What I liked the most about the apartment where I stayed in Rhodes was how spacious and comfortable it was. It had everything I needed for a pleasant stay, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy living spaces. Additionally, the apartment was located in a peaceful building and in a quiet neighborhood, which made it the perfect place to relax after exploring the beautiful island. The calm surroundings really added to the overall experience, making my stay in Rhodes even more enjoyable.
