You know what struck me first about Rhodes SkyLine Suites? The name actually makes sense – and I mean that in the best way possible. Most hotels throw around words like “skyline” without backing it up, but when you’re standing on one of their terraces looking out over Ixia Bay, you get it. The whole place sits perfectly positioned on G. Seferi Street, which honestly sounds more impressive than it is – it’s just a quiet stretch that puts you close enough to the action but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the chaos of Rhodes Old Town every single night.

I’ll be straight with you: this isn’t one of those massive resort complexes where you feel like cattle being herded around. The suites – and they really are suites, not just rooms with a mini-fridge – have this lived-in elegance that feels more like staying at a sophisticated friend’s place than a hotel. The kitchenettes are actually functional (I made coffee every morning and even attempted some Greek yogurt and honey situation I picked up from the local market). What really got me was the attention to details you don’t expect – like the way they’ve positioned the balconies so you’re not staring directly into your neighbor’s breakfast routine, and how the blackout curtains actually work when you want to sleep past the aggressive Greek sunrise.

The location thing is interesting because Ixia gets overlooked by people rushing to either Rhodes Town or Lindos, but that’s honestly their loss. You’re literally a ten-minute walk from some of the better beaches on this part of the island – the kind where locals actually go, not just tour groups. The staff seems to get this too; they’ll point you toward the family-run taverna two streets over instead of the tourist trap everyone else recommends. And here’s something I didn’t expect – the soundproofing is remarkable. You’d think being this close to the main coastal road would mean traffic noise all night, but I slept better here than I have in months. Maybe it’s the way the building is positioned, or maybe they just invested in proper windows – either way, it works.

Look, the 9.7 rating isn’t some inflated number they’re throwing around. After staying in probably too many Greek hotels over the years, I can tell you the difference between places that just look good in photos and ones that actually deliver. This falls into the latter category – it’s the kind of place where small things work properly, where the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every time someone uses the elevator, where the shower pressure doesn’t make you question your life choices. The fact that it’s technically a 4-star property almost feels like they’re underselling themselves, but honestly, that probably keeps it from being overrun with people who’d miss the point entirely.

  Everything you need in walking distance.
  I have not rented a car .
  If I wanted to go to the city center I called taxi.
  In walking distance you can find
  15 Restaurants (from fish to meat and from fast food to tavernas)
  10 cafeterias with or without sea view ,
  3 super markets
  2 pharmacies
  20 clinics
  2 big hardware stores

  We had a wonderful stay at Skyline Suites!
  The location was perfect—quiet, yet within easy reach of supermarkets, cafe, and restaurants. . The suites were spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every little detail felt well thought out.
  
  What could be improved: We loved the spacious and beautifully designed suites, the view to the sea, the peaceful atmosphere, the comfortable beds, and the great location. Everything was tidy, well equipped, and the host was very kind and responsive.

  This is a suite apartment designed down to the last detail. We used 2 bedrooms and a living room, but it can also be expanded to 3 bedrooms. In addition to the really large outdoor jacuzzi on the impressive balcony of one of the bedrooms, there is a decent jacuzzi in the bathroom of the second room and this room has a large balcony with a breathtaking view of the sea and sunsets. The kitchen is excellently equipped and you will find almost every appliance you need. There is also a dishwasher and a washing machine, but both are hidden in the kitchen cabinets and do not interfere with the eye. It is recommended to rent a car, which is very affordable. There is a place a few meters away and it is cheap. There are quite a few more good things to tell but I have already gone too far, so I would just like to mention Mr. Tsampikos who does everything in his power to make your vacation enjoyable and help you with any request. Excellent service in one of the most beautiful apartments in Rhodes. We will definitely be back!

  The astonishing view to the Aegean at sunset was breathtaking. Very modern and fully equipped suite. Spacious with comfortable beds. Perfectly clean. Large jacuzzi, big enough to fit 5 persons.
