You know what really got me about Manos’s place? It’s tucked right into the heart of Rhodes Old Town on Timokreontos Street, and I mean literally inside those massive medieval walls – not just “near” them like so many places claim. When you’re walking back from dinner and hear your footsteps echoing off 600-year-old stones, it hits you that you’re actually staying inside a UNESCO World Heritage site. Pretty wild, honestly.

The apartment itself surprised me in the best way. I was expecting something cramped and touristy, but Manos has clearly put thought into making this feel like a real home rather than just another rental. The space is bigger than photos suggest – you know how apartment listings can be – and there’s this nice mix of modern comfort with just enough old-world character that you don’t feel like you’re sleeping in a museum. The AC actually works (crucial in summer, trust me), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes like some places I’ve stayed in Greek islands. Small things, but they matter when you’re trying to upload photos or just want to sleep without sweating through the sheets.

What I really loved was the location within the Old Town itself. You’re maybe a three-minute walk from the Street of the Knights, which honestly never gets old – I must have wandered down there a dozen times just because. The tourist crowds thin out significantly once you get past 6 PM, so you can actually explore without feeling like you’re in a theme park. And being on Timokreontos means you’re close enough to everything but not right on top of the main tourist drags where it gets absolutely bonkers during the day. The morning coffee run to that little place near Sokratous Street becomes this lovely ritual – you’ll see what I mean.

Parking is… well, forget about parking inside the Old Town, but there’s decent enough options just outside the walls if you’re driving. Most people don’t realize you can actually get pretty close to the entrance near the apartment before you have to ditch the car. Manos was helpful with directions for that stuff – he seems to genuinely care that people have a good experience, which isn’t always a given with vacation rentals. The 8.3 rating makes sense; it’s not perfect (the shower pressure could be better, and there’s some street noise if you’re a super light sleeper), but it delivers on what matters most: authentic location, comfortable space, and that feeling like you’ve discovered something special rather than just booked another generic hotel room. If you want to actually experience Rhodes Old Town instead of just visiting it during the day, this is exactly the kind of place that makes the difference.

  De location was perfect, in the middle of Old Town. The appartment was big and clean, we enjoyed our stay.

  Close proximity to the Grand Masters Palace. Lots of restaurants close by.

  Location, cleanliness, washing machine and tumble dryer. The apartment is closed to shops, restaurants and supermarket. The agent provided clear checkin direction and arranged the airport pickup with reasonable fee. Could not fault them.
  
  What could be improved: Squeaky bed which should be easily fixed by reinforcing the bed. We didn't have a good sleep due to squeaky bed in the master bedroom. Also the twin beds have a noise. Hence we rated 9.

  good communication with Panormitis, nice situation in the old city, quiet, renovated and functionnal, washing machine and kitchen. You can park for free outside the city
