Hotel Description

You know what hit me first about Rhodes Island View? The name actually undersells it. I mean, yeah, you get gorgeous views of the Aegean from most rooms, but honestly, it’s the whole vibe of this place that got me. It sits right in Ixia – not in the thick of Rhodes Town’s tourist madness, but close enough that you can easily hop over when you want to. The beach is literally across the street, and I’m talking about that stretch where the windsurfers hang out because the conditions are just perfect there.

The hotel itself feels like someone put real thought into it, you know? It’s got that 4-star polish without being stuffy about it. Check-in was smooth – the staff actually remembered my name by day two, which doesn’t happen everywhere. The rooms are what you’d hope for, clean and comfortable, with those little touches that matter when you’re unwinding after a day of exploring. Air conditioning that actually works (crucial in summer), decent WiFi, and those balconies where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch the ferry boats heading to Symi. I spent way too many mornings doing exactly that.

What really sets this place apart though is how it sits in Ixia itself. You’re about a 10-minute drive from Rhodes Old Town – easy enough to grab a taxi or rent one of those little scooters if you’re feeling adventurous. But honestly, sometimes I preferred just walking along the coastal road in the evening when the wind dies down and everything gets that golden hour glow. There’s this little taverna about five minutes walk away where the locals actually eat – you’ll know it because there’s never a menu in English posted outside, but the grilled octopus is incredible. The hotel’s pool area gets busy around mid-morning, but if you’re an early riser like me, you can have it pretty much to yourself. And here’s something I appreciated – the parking situation is actually sorted out, which isn’t always a given in this part of the island. That 9.6 rating makes sense when you add up all these little things that just work the way they should.

  Absolutely amazing stay! The location is perfect — everything you need is just a short walk away: shops, cafes, the beach, and public transport. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and always goes the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. Their warm hospitality truly makes you feel at home.
  
  The apartments are spotless, modern, and exactly as shown in the pictures — maybe even better! They are fully equipped with everything you need for a perfect vacation. One of the highlights was relaxing in the evening in the hot tub, enjoying a breathtaking sea view and the beautiful sunset. Pure bliss!
  
  If you're planning a trip to Rhodes, I wholeheartedly recommend choosing this place. You won’t regret it — in fact, you’ll probably want to come back again. It truly feels like a home away from home!

  We stayed at Iviskos Villa in Ixia, and it was an absolutely perfect experience. The apartment was spotless and beautifully finished. The terras was very clean and well-maintained, with plenty of seating options to enjoy at all times of the day. The jacuzzi was already heated upon our arrival – such a relaxing touch!
  The villa had everything we needed – from bathrobes and slippers to a fully equipped kitchen. The hosts had truly thought of every detail: coffee, sugar, milk, cookies, and even a welcome bottle of wine. Their personal farewell at the end of our stay was very touching and showed how much they care about their guests.
  The swimming pool and the atmosphere of the entire accommodation were stunning, especially in the evening with the beautiful lighting. A true oasis of peace and comfort – perfect for total relaxation. Highly recommended!

  Great apartment with very nice terrace and view for sea. Perfect placement in Ixia with a shop nearby. Extremely clean rooms with everything one could need. Very nice and helpful host.

  Design, the pool and the bubble bath, nice to have a palace that set the mood of holidays right after landing. Easy access to restaurant and old town near by.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing in particular, we were surprised of the absence of doors for the rooms. It makes sense with the design of the Villa, but keep it mind if you're not only with your family or friends

  The best part to have your own garden and jakuzi there. Everything was absolutely beautiful. The house is perfect for a family stay. The rooms with private bathroom. Everything is new and decorated nicely. You have all kitchen stuff needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very nice to find the house with complementary snacks and drink. (Thank you) The location is very good, close to the beach ( 5 mins walking) and very close to the city centre ( 10 mins by car). We visited Rhodes off season so the price was quite reasonable as well. Thank you for everything and nice gift. We definitely recommend it!

  This villa is perfect, the quality is soooo high, everything is brand new. There are 4 rooms, one on each floor and each has a bathroom. Each villa has own jacuzzi and there is swimming pool for all. Thank you for everything!

  This was a wonderful property to stay in – very new/modern with everything we might need. The pool and the hot tub were fantastic and so accessible. Facilities and fittings to the highest standard. Rooms and beds very comfortable. Great location – close to the beach and a good location for exploring the island whether by can or by the bus.
  The hosts were very welcoming and on hand if we had any questions and they made us feel very welcome in their property.
