Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first climbed up to the first floor of that narrow building on Kritis Street – you know how some of these old Rhodes Town addresses can be a bit deceiving from the outside. But Rhodes City Studios completely surprised me, and I mean that in the best way possible. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. It’s not one of those cookie-cutter hotels where everything feels mass-produced. The studios have this clean, modern vibe but with enough character that you remember where you are.

What really struck me is how quiet it gets at night, which is honestly pretty remarkable considering you’re right in the heart of the old town. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from Socratous Street where all the tourist action happens, but somehow the building sits in this perfect little pocket where you can actually sleep. The studios themselves are smartly designed – not huge, but everything has its place, and the kitchenette setup is actually functional (I’ve stayed in plenty where the “kitchen” is basically decorative). The air conditioning works properly too, which… well, if you’ve spent any time in Rhodes during summer, you know that’s not always a given.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the location gives you options. You can walk to the Palace of the Grand Master in about five minutes, grab coffee at one of those little spots near the harbor, or duck into the narrow alleyways when the cruise ship crowds get overwhelming. There’s a decent supermarket within walking distance if you want to use that kitchenette, and parking isn’t the nightmare it could be if you’re driving (though honestly, you don’t need a car once you’re settled in the old town). The whole setup just works in a way that feels effortless, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to enjoy your time in Rhodes. I’ve stayed in fancier places that felt more complicated and definitely in cheaper places that felt like compromises, but this hits that sweet spot where you’re comfortable without feeling like you’re missing out on the authentic Rhodes experience.

  Excellent location. Walking distance to most points of interest. Everything is new and works in the apartment. The apartment is very clean and better equipped than usual. The owner couple was very helpful.
  Great restaurants and a quite good food store are nearby.
  
  What could be improved: Parking is a small challenge but we managed to find a free spot very near every day.

  The owner was very generous in allowing an early check-in and met us in person, to get the keys and see the property.
  Apartment was self contained, separate bedroom, bathroom with open plan kitchen and lounge area. Balcony area overlooking the street. Shutters on exterior.

  Everything was perfect! The apartment had been in great shape when we arrived (it‘s almost new), it was extremly clean and fully equipped. We felt extremely welcome and the hosts are very friendly. One can see the effort they are making to make a guest feel at home.
  
  What could be improved: The only difficulty is finding a parking spot. This has nothing to to with the accomodation or hosts, but it can be a bit challenging at times.

  The owner was waiting for us on the street in front of the apartment. Very kind and responsive.
  The apartment is new and with all comforts – 2 separate rooms, 2 air conditioners, equipped kitchen and washing machine.
  Everything you need has been thought of.
  There were 3 types of coffee, fruit and even cream for the coffee.
  There are many restaurants and shops around.
  It is a short walk to the old town and the port.
  Perfect place for tourists.

  Modern apartment in Rhodes city. Everything in 5-10 min walk. Very clean and well equipped. You get everything what you need for everyday life.

  Owner of the apartment was do nice and smiling. She had pre-cooled the room and put cold water in fridge for us. The coffee she put for us relieved our tiredness.The location of the apartment is good and we could reach everywhere in the city within a short walking distance. It was a smooth and wonderful holiday. We would also like to thank the apartment owner for being kind and polite to us.

  The studio was in a great location, close to bars/restaurants and the beach. The property was well maintained and had everything required. The bed was extremely comfortable and the air con was a huge help
