Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places in Rhodes Town, and honestly? Reborn Luxury Apartments surprised me in the best way. The name sounds a bit dramatic – I mean, “Reborn” – but once you’re actually there on Δαμασκηνού Street, you get it. This whole area has this incredible energy where old Rhodes meets modern comfort, and these apartments nail that balance perfectly.

What really struck me first was how quiet it gets at night, which is saying something because you’re literally in the heart of Rhodes Town. During the day you’ve got all the buzz of local life – people heading to work, kids on their way to school, that sort of authentic Greek neighborhood vibe that most tourists never see. But then evening rolls around and it’s surprisingly peaceful. The building itself has this solid, reassuring feel to it, and you know what? The soundproofing actually works. I was expecting to hear every conversation from the street below, but nope.

The apartments themselves feel properly luxurious without being stuffy about it. Everything’s been thoughtfully updated – and I mean recently, not five years ago when everything was “newly renovated.” The kitchens are fully equipped (I’m talking real cooking equipment, not those sad hotel kitchenettes), which is perfect because honestly, eating out every meal in Rhodes gets expensive fast. Plus, there’s something really satisfying about grabbing fresh ingredients from the local market and cooking with that Mediterranean light streaming through the windows. The bathrooms deserve a mention too – proper water pressure and those rainfall showerheads that actually work. Small things, but they matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the location gives you options. You’re close enough to walk to the Medieval City whenever you want (it’s maybe a 10-minute stroll), but you’re not trapped in that tourist bubble. Turn left out the front door and you’re heading toward where actual Rhodes residents live and work. There’s this little bakery about three blocks down that opens ridiculously early and makes these incredible cheese pies – the kind of place you’d never find if you were staying in some resort bubble. And parking? Well, it’s Rhodes Town so it’s never going to be simple, but the area around Δαμασκηνού is definitely more manageable than trying to navigate closer to the old town walls.

The staff clearly know what they’re doing – check-in was smooth, they actually answered their phones when I had questions, and they gave me proper local recommendations, not just the obvious tourist spots. That 9.3 rating makes sense when you experience the whole package. It’s not trying to be the flashiest place on the island, but it delivers on the things that actually matter when you’re traveling. Good location, comfortable space, reliable service, and that feeling like you’re staying somewhere that respects both your comfort and the character of the neighborhood. For a 4-star place, it punches above its weight.

  Brand new modern apartments. Very well furnished, comfortable beds. Clean bedding and towels and washing machine in apartment if needed. All cooking facilities supplied, home from home. Excellent location, short walk to beautiful beaches and the old town. Lovely, friendly hosts. We will definitely be back.
