You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Princess Andriana in Kiotari – I mean, the south end of Rhodes doesn’t get talked about as much as Lindos or Rhodes Town, but honestly, that’s exactly why this place works so well. The resort sits right on this gorgeous stretch of Kiotari Beach where the pebbles give way to sand, and you can actually hear the waves from most of the rooms (though if you’re a light sleeper, maybe mention that when booking). The ultra all-inclusive thing here isn’t just marketing speak either – they’ve got this sprawling property with multiple restaurants, and I’m talking actual variety, not the same buffet with different signs. The Greek taverna section does this lamb that’s… well, let’s just say I went back three nights in a row.

What really surprised me was how they handle the crowds. Sure, it’s busy during peak season – July and August can feel pretty packed around the main pool – but the property is big enough that you can always find a quiet spot if you know where to look. There’s this smaller pool area near the spa that most people seem to miss, and the beach section right in front of the resort is way less crowded than the public stretch closer to Kiotari village. The staff actually knows the area too, which is refreshing. One of the concierge guys, Dimitris I think, pointed me toward this little taverna in nearby Gennadi that I never would’ve found otherwise – it’s like a 10-minute drive and totally worth it for a change of scenery. Speaking of drives, parking is free and easy here, unlike some places along the coast where you’re stuck hunting for spots.

The spa deserves its own mention because it’s actually substantial – not just a couple massage rooms slapped together. They use local olive oil products, and the hammam experience was legitimately relaxing, though book early because slots fill up fast. The rooms themselves are solid, nothing groundbreaking but comfortable with decent air conditioning (crucial in summer) and most have at least partial sea views. Check-in was smooth, maybe 15 minutes max, and they had our room ready even though we arrived early. Look, it’s not perfect – the WiFi can be spotty in some areas, and if you get a room near the entertainment area, it can get a bit noisy until around 11 PM. But for a 5-star all-inclusive on a quieter part of the island where you can actually experience some Greek culture without fighting tourist crowds, Princess Andriana really delivers. The 8.7 rating makes sense – it’s the kind of place where you’ll actually relax instead of spending your vacation managing logistics.

  Everything was wonderful and especially waterpark was so good and excellent.Not only rooms and also everywhere in the hotels was clean and comfortable.The pool and the beach was so good clean and clear.

  Excellent animation team to keep everyone entertained during the day and evening for people of all ages. Great selection of foods in the buffet. Always meat and fish options. Great selection of desserts too and seasonal fruits.
  
  Moonlight restaurant was excellent service, great location on top of the hotel with great food. So pleased this was included in the Ultra All Inclusive.
  
  Private beach is only a short walk away where the sea is really calm which is a big positive.
  
  There were always plenty of staff looking after guests so you had a warm greeting wherever you went and never had to wait long for a drink.
  
  It was my daughter’s birthday during our stay of which they provided a complimentary cake. This was a very nice touch.
  
  What could be improved: The Tex mex and Italian restaurant were hosted at the All Day Snack Bar. As the wind can pick up in the evening it didn’t feel like the best location for the Al La Carte restaurant as it is exposed.
  
  Some of the dishes weren’t cooked to a 5 star standard in comparison to the Moonlight restaurant. For example, the fish was supposed to be pan fried but was more deep fried and the tiramisu didn’t really have a taste of coffee.
  
  Really difficult to find any other fault with the hotel.

  What could be improved: Private pool was too cold. Would be good to pay extra to request it heated.
  Bathtub in the honeymoon suite is designed for 2 people but the placement of the taps make it impossible for 2 people to share.
  Curtains are not blackout and the room is not soundproofed even though it's advertised to be.
  Poolside is extremely slippery when wet. Nowhere to walk after getting out of the pool to avoid slipping.

  Our room was beautiful, comfortable and clean . We had a private terrace with our own private pool which we loved. The staff were very friendly and evening entertainment was varied so something for everyone. Several restaurants to dine in, we enjoyed every meal we had. Perfect relaxing week.
