While Penelope’s House doesn’t have its own restaurant, that’s actually part of its charm. You’re forced to venture out and discover the incredible local tavernas within walking distance. There’s this family-run place called Takis just down the street where the moussaka is absolutely incredible — and the prices are what you’d expect locals to pay, not tourist rates. The staff at the hotel gave me great recommendations, and I could tell they genuinely knew the area well rather than just reciting from some guidebook.
